The hotel was really beautifully appointed it’s a small establishment a converted residence with 9 bedrooms and one studio. The room I stayed in was no 3 on the ground floor considering a large sitting room and large bedroom with an attached conservatory. The hotel operates an honestly system with drinks snacks coffee / tea available from the pantry 24 hours .i would highly recommend this hotel .

Staff was superhelpful and kind. Made a huge difference and the place was cozy and welcoming. Room decor was contemporary and tasteful. Bathroom was greatly equipped - shower powerful, clean and modern. Supercomfy bed. Bedding, pillows perfect. Free parking is a bonus!

We had dinner at the hotels restaurant a few times and it was very good. Staff was extremely friendly and the owner is very much hands-on. Been there twice now and will be back. Hotel Kastanjehof is a small cosy hotel, situated in the middle of the beautiful forest of Lage Vuursche. The area surrounding Kastanjehof is perfect for walking, cycling and riding. We were able to hike and seen Falls colors. Oh my goodness it was so pretty. Great location. Restaurants too.
