Localizado no norte de Vancouver Island, o Kwa'lilas Hotel fica a menos de 10 minutos a pé do mar e do centro da cidade de Port Hardy. Breakfast was good. We were in a few hotels on this trip so I may have the wrong breakfast, the bread for toast was still in the bag. This made everyone who wanted some to touch/reach into the bag. Not great in these Covid times.

The hospitality of the host Michelle was outstanding. We arrived at 1:00 am and she was wide awake, waiting for us and giving directions how to reach to the property, took us to the room and made us feel secure & comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, top of the world. We have been to many part of the world and stayed at many 5 star hotels. But the breakfast served at the Inn on Stephens Bay better than the 5 star hotels. It was healthy, just melts down in the mouth. The lawn and outside of the property is well maintained.

Pemba did her utmost to welcome us and make us feel at home. She cooked us a delicious, healthy gluten free porridge for breakfast and made us wonderful Indian food for supper, like prawn curry and butter chicken, as well as fresh local salmon. She gave us knowledgeable advise about the island, and a very special send-off the evening before we left. We felt very pampered! There are comfortable seating areas, inside and out, overlooking the bay. The hotel is not far from the pub, which has live local entertainment to join in on on Saturday night. A memorable experience.

Wonderful staff who seem to enjoy having guests and sharing their knowledge and experiences about the island. Adventuring Alert bay is a unique experience...we will definitely come again.
