They tried to sidestep it by providing luggage stowage space under the bed. Bathroom was pretty spacious for a Japanese business hotel. There is a coin laundry room that also has vending machines. The location is about a 15-min walk from Sendai Station. In the morning it is right by the super interesting Asaichi market. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
