We loved the room right from the entrance. The stone wall gave the room warmth and the ambience was lovely. A nice old world charm with modern touches. The bed was super comfy (and I am very fussy!). Immediately walking through the door to this hotel is like a step back in time. The old world charm, the fire place and the little restaurant/bar off to to the left gave us a wonderful start to our 2 night stay.

The gym was well appointed and we used it twice during our stay. We were able to park under the building in a secure car park. We used the restaurant for dinner on one occasion and it was very good with a varied menu. The Bar George was buzzing and inviting. Overall we had an excellent stay, the staff were polite and helpful and we would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel highly.

They really made our short stay most enjoyable. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable, which I really appreciated it. The breakfast was exceptional. Phillip pampered us with a delicious homemade early meal that included homebaked pastries and their very own Greek yogurt, a variety of fresh fruit, and so much more. We also liked the up and coming neighborhood feel.

The AC kept the room cool and was quiet. The window opened when we preferred fresh air. This is a GREAT location for the F1 to take the ferry from the old port across, and avoid the much busier metro. The hotel pub (Taverne Gaspar) was also a great group dinner as well.
