We loved out short stay with Mattieu and Caroline. They were the most welcoming and helpful hosts we have had on our trip so far. Our room was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and more. It was tastefully decorated, incredibly clean, and beautifully presented. We only stayed one night in Avignon as a stop on the way to Paris, but we wished we had stayed longer. Such a charming and unique village with lots of history, great shops, and a wide range of restaurants—we were so pleasantly surprised! The apartment was in a great location too. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Grivolas and be sure to take them up on their offer for breakfast, it was memorable.

This kind and nice couple provided us with one of the best memories of our trip, and staying in this medieval house was a unique experience in Avignon. The room is very spacious and the breakfast is perfect. The location is great, all attractions are within walking distance. Definitely recommended!

It’s warm, cosy and I can’t speak highly enough about it. The kitchen is superb, easy to cook in and a very comfortable kitchen table to eat at.. Great shower and a nice deep bath if you like baths. It’s known by the locals as the most picturesque road in Avignon. Good restaurants, bars, shops. Wonderful art/galleries which show the owners work or up and coming artists.

Stunning location: located in the heart of the historic part of the city, there are plenty of attractions and places to eat around. A very good hostess who is always in touch and ready to help with any questions. A large area with a comfortable table and a large TV. Two full-fledged separate bedrooms with comfortable beds and a full set of different pillows. It seems that the apartment was made for living, and not for renting out.
