I had an amazing time. When I first booked, I thought I might be spending a work vacation on the boat. However, I came to the conclusion that I needed to take advantage of the opportunity to just rest and relax. I did yoga, meditation, journaling, and went on long walks and bikes. The city is easily accessible by bike, but I spent most of my time out and around the dike, where it was calm and beautiful. The boat was quite comfortable, in my opinion. I slept extremely well, and I felt safe.

The cabins were small but comfortable for my teenagers. My husband and I were comfortable in a mobile home with our smaller kids. Everything was clean upon arrival. My kids loved the park and the croissants available for breakfast at the on-site market. The staff was kind and helpful. Check in time is a little inconvenient but arranging payment with an IBAN transfer ahead of time is easy. Be sure to ask about how they would like you to leave the rooms when you leave so you don’t get charged extra! Great location and quiet area.
