Centrally located in downtown San Francisco, this luxury 4-star hotel is one block from Union Square. It offers an Italian restaurant and rooftop lounge, a sauna, and spacious rooms with free WiFi. Everything was great, super clean huge room, new, comfortable bed, close to all fancy shops.

Perfect location to visit different places in SF. Cable car stop next to the hotel is perfect. Good options to park your car. You can use valet service - works well but bit overprized or there are several parking houses close to the hotel.

Great location near union square & bus /metro/trolley stop Didn’t felt unsafe in the surroundings at any moment Great hotel vibe & decor, the staff was super friendly and allowed us a (verryyyy) late check in! The hotel does not have a full breakfast but serves coffee & pastries in the morning which was a great surprise. Thanks to the late night staff that gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite after a >50h train ride to get to SF :)

The Grand Hyatt at Union Square is a wonderful hotel that I hope to return to soon. Have stayed at several hotels in the same area in the past and in different price ranges, but the Grand Hyatt is my favorite. The hotel seems to be well run in every way, the staff are pleasant, the bellboy/doorman service is impeccable. In addition, the level of cleaning is, for once, very good. Both the rooms and the hotel area are otherwise characterized by good order and cleanliness. If you want to live near Union Square, it is not possible to find a more perfect location. Very nice rooms of a good size. Tip: ask for a room as high up on the floors as possible with a view out onto Union Square.
