This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors! I didn't feel like being in a motel, I felt like being in a clean dungeon without a fridge or a kitchen to have some hot water or warm up a food.... I don't recommend it to anyone!SSoudabeh - 10Scored 10
Truro's Victoria Park is a wonderful place.
Truro's Victoria Park is a wonderful place. The town has great restaurants and is easy to navigate. The people are friendly and helpful. The roads could use a little work on them. Thai Express and Mezza where good for tasty fast food. The British Cafe was great with very friendly staff and you could take your dog to the outdoor patio.

Very nice town with lots of shopping and markets. Very close to the masstown market. Very easy to get around truro and lots of restaurants to choose from. The ho ho wok chinese food restaurant served the best chinese food we have ever eaten.

not sure the name of the gas station it was near the train...
not sure the name of the gas station it was near the train tracks on the street that runs paralel with the tracks advertised on the main sign advertised 1.32 l ? you pull up to the pump I noticed 1.38 L for regular the 1.32 L WAS FOR DIESEL .This little scheme by 1 company puts the whole town reputation in jeopardy.PS LOVE YOU TRURO FOLKS

Victoria Park was excellent Swiss Chalet is the best in the Province Not to easy to get around Truro. You need a GPS The Glooscap Trail is great ,very scenic. Truro a great central location to go to other places of interest.HenryCanada

The room was dark enough for us (we're a bit light sensitive) for sleeping. Plus I love the smell of the sheets on the bed. It was like candy that reminds you of your childhood. There was a problem with a charge to the credit card, but the pretty young lady in the office was very helpful and quick to fix it. Despite things I didn't like, I found it to be worth the money, and I would stay there again.TimothyCanada

She made us a wonderful breakfast. They are located in a residential area a couple minutes from the center of Truro. There are two restaurants nearby that I recommended. The room was clean and comfortable. About an hour to drive to Burndtcove provincial park to see the tide. Better to stay in town because in the countryside they did not seem to be many places to have dinner.

The breakfast was delicious, all home-made. The beds were very comfortable and the attached bathrooms were large and well stocked. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We wished we would have booked more time there. We would recommend The Baker’s Chest without hesitation to anyone coming to Truro.
