It was a great getaway with great history. However upon noticing things when we got there the cleanliness could have been better considering the property fees that exceed more than what we paid in rental

Fredericksburg is a clean prosperous town! Makes you feel good to see businesses thriving, people traveling, eating nice dinners, shopping and enjoying their time! Love the buildings, the natural landscape of old trees and brush with cactus! Very easy to get from vineyards to restaurants and our accommodations.
Ate at Texas Sunrise for breakfast. They also serve lunch all day too, so I loved that about the restaurant since I’m not big on a breakfast! Must say their breakfast was good looking and we all enjoyed our meal. We had the nicest server and their bathroom was clean and big!
Had the most delicious pizza at West End pizza, cool place! Definitely not lacking in excellent places to dine!
The Christmas store was a beautiful store with a great selection of jewelry designers like Ronaldo and Julie Vos. Beautiful ornaments, beer steins, artwork and glassware!
Definitely save some time for shopping!

I mentioned having to climb long stairs to eat breakfast. Breakfast was good with waffle and large fruit variety. Adequate parking. Fantastic two track paved roads to explore.

The wild flowers in the area were spectacular. Lots of people walking everywhere so we felt very safe. Many places to eat. Only problem a lot of restaurants were closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

What a wonderful town so full of history!
What a wonderful town so full of history! So many interesting stores with historical backgrounds. Definitely visit the Pacific War Museum and go to a reenactment if there's one on that day. Too many great places to eat, drink and shop in.

Downtown Fredericksburg is cute with lots of shops, although most are pricey. Free street parking! Many, many wineries nearby!
Lady Bird Park is amazing! We were in town for viewing the solar eclipse, and they treated us like royalty! No charge for admittance. No parking passes needed. Tons of staff available throughout! Permanent restrooms and tons of porta potties. Free eclipse glasses. Food and souvenirs available. The park is big, beautiful, and well-maintained. We were in a car, but there were camping sites too. Surprisingly fast and easy getting out of the park due to folks directing traffic. Kudos to whomever was in charge of Lady Bird Park on April 8, 2024!

All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite.
All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite. Things went well with all reservations. The price for the rental was high dye to the eclipse. Even guides at enchanted Rock were helpful and allowed us in, even though we didn't have reservations.
The location is fantastic!! The hotel is easy walking distance to the downtown shopping and dining. When I arrived at my room, I was surprised by a full kitchen. Additionally, there was an ample yard where I could have had a cookout if I wanted to. On my first night I was delighted to discover deer visiting in the same yard. Staff was friendly. The hotel has high quality snacks on the counter of the main office. (Not all rooms have kitchens. Ask if this if important to you.) I was also surprised by a complimentary bottle of wine!
The location was a short drive outside of downtown Fredericksburg...very quiet and able to see the stars! Convenient check-in and able to pull the car directly up to the motel style accomodations. Beds were soft and comfortable and the floors have been updated to plank tile. The room was CLEAN, the sheets comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. We had a small plumbing problem while we were there and maintenance was alerted and had it fixed in under 10 minutes...thank you!!
Everything was wonderful! From the initial check-in with the front desk to the check-out process, we had a wonderful time. The very kind lady at the front desk gave us great information and made things very smooth for check-in. Our room was adorable and was very clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept so great after a long day of hiking Enchanted Rock. If you are thinking about booking, this is a heck yes!!!
Great inn, within walking distance of Main Street, Fredericksburg. Beautiful pool and spa overlooking lots of greenery and plants as well as a glimpse of the creek. And my son loved the 24/7 access to the soda machine. The staff were friendly and even had snacks and wine available for purchase. Great stay...my son can't wait to go back and definitely rated it a 10 out of 10.
I loved the rustic feel and the secluded location to get away from it all, the hot tube was fantastic and left on so we didn’t need to wait for it to heat up. The room was super comfortable and I think they have memory foam mattresses that made for a very peaceful sleep, a very relaxing pit stop for us. Would highly recommend it.
Loved the aesthetic feel of the cabin, was very homey, good location to most wineries as well as Fredericksburg(about 8 miles away), easy to get in and out of, loved the lights highlighting the road to cabins at night, very nice road, loved the view especially either the alpacas or llamas that we saw the morning we left.
The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s a perfect (very large) cabin with phenomenal views. You can connect with nature or drive 10 mins to downtown Fredericksburg. Every cabin has their own private hot tub that is well maintained. The bed was absolutely the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had.
We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We couldn't hear the traffic on 290 at all. The cabins were close enough to Fredericksburg that we could run into town when we wanted, but still have a quiet place to retreat when we finished with our activities. Facilities were clean.
Really lovely, kind staff with all the Texas charm. The ac was awesome, loved that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. It was right next to Fredericksburg and all their fun places. (Side note go to quintessential Chocolates too.)
The location was okay. The location was lumped in with a lot of other options that were closer to downtown Fredericksburg, so it was a little further away from the activities than I realized.
Cute, quaint, easy to get to.
Random, but probably the best water pressure for a hotel shower that I’ve ever had! that was awesome!
slept comfortably, staff was friendly and helpful.
