After having stayed in many other hotels just outside bigger cities in Georgia and in Alabama the last month - all situated so close to the highways that you felt staying ON the highway, this hotel also is situated close to the highways north of Columbus - but in very nice and quite surroundings. You can take an evening walk in the peaceful area - I really enjoyed it. You can also sit ourside - or take a tour in the pool.

Columbus is one of the safest towns to stay overnight in Georgia. Plenty of handicap parking and well lighted. We arrived late for an overnight stay enroute to Hilton Head. Dining options were crowded due to Friday evening activities. A Steak and Shake one block away filled the bill for us . The highways into / out of Columbus were in excellent condition and scenic👍💥

There were a number of things wrong with the room.
There were a number of things wrong with the room. Let’s start with the bed the comforter had stains one appeared to have been detergent the other unknown I didn’t realize it until I took the top sheet off. A lamp in the room was broken the outlets they provide on the tables are lose and don’t hold your charger.
Bathroom- The shower had hair in the drain, an open bar of soap and a random shaver cap. It wasn’t properly cleaned The drain stopper wasn’t even in the drain but on the floor or the tub. The towel hook is coming off the wall. The rack they have over the toilet was rusted and definitely needs to be replaced.
The toilet barely flushed the sink didn’t look like it was cleaned.
One good thing is they have a refrigerator and a microwave both looked clean, the Wi-Fi was easy to connect too I was able to use my fire stick. House keeping kept knocking on the door even with the do not disturb sign on the door handle. The AC unit needs to be cleaned but it worked so that’s better than nothing. I booked that hotel because of the price it was affordable and because of the pool, the pool was not open which is something they should have told you prior to booking the room, I mean it’s July in Georgia it’s hot and gross outside a pool would have been nice to use. The ice machine was broken and it smelled like urine.
Good things about the hotel is that is its just a few minutes away from the airport which was great, the staff was friendly at least whoever I spoke too. They do have vending machines but those are located where the ice machine is and it smells. I can’t say I will ever go use them again. It is a privately owned hotel apparently so the owner needs to stop being cheap and upgrade the rooms, hire better cleaning staff as well or make sure the rooms are checked.

For the first time I have stayed at this place I was not impressed with all the places that were sent up for people to set around and get intoxicated but no where designed for smoking or children to be intertwined and only one day was the pool used by 2 people besides my family and for the price all of us paid it wasn't nothing worth it.to sit around and just talk with the family we had to go outside and sit and watch a building being put up.will not recommended to any one else

Nice location. Plenty stores and eateries.
Nice location. Plenty stores and eateries. For a military family the hospitality wasn't so great, welcoming, and respectful. Longhorn steakhouse wasn't very full, first meal for my Army soldier to have on the day of his graduation. The managers weren't very nice and wanted to seat us where they wanted which we explained we'd need more room to eat comfortably!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! The with Famous Footwear weren't friendly at all no friendly faces or customer service worth coming back for. The only reason I put up with it my son needed running shoes for going back to base. All shoe shops were the same. Very angry especially when I work in customer service and great all my customers equally, respectfully and go beyond to make their experience better for their needs.

We were in Columbus for a graduation at Fort Benning.
We were in Columbus for a graduation at Fort Benning. We spent majority of our time on base - but enjoyed the trip. Especially the trip to the National Infantry Museum. Wish we had more time in downtown Columbus. It looked very quaint, and almost seemed like our home town of Greenville, SC.
I didn’t ike anything abt the room really. I went into the bathroom expecting a nice shower but the walls were coming out from the floor base area. Inside the shower was black & i did not feel comfortable stepping inside. The staff (the main man) he was rude just extremely rude. I booked the room already & when i tried to pay he made me walk to an ATM because my significant other was trying to use my card to pay.
Mr. Jose, working the front desk was highly professional and personable. A clean room, adjustable temperature controls, and a good bed with lots of pillows provided a good sleep. I felt safe as the room seemed secure. All staff I encountered were very friendly and attuned to good service. The two complimentary bottles of water were real nice and necessary after my lengthy travel. Very easy checkout.
This hotel had pretty much everything wonderful going for it. It was extremely clean, comfortable, well appointed and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Amy went out of her way to be so sweet and everyone always had a smile on their faces and seemed genuinely happy to see us. We have stayed in several different hotels in Columbus, and this is definitely our #1 favorite from now on.
From the moment we walked in, until we left the next day, my husband and I were very happy to have stayed there for a second time. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, the entire hotel was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Whenever my husband and I go to Columbus, this is where we like to stay.
We were on the list for reservations but couldn't get in room because hotel said they didn't receive payment from Booking.com.. Booking.com couldn't contact hotel lady said she thought they were blocked she said she tried to email but lady at desk said she never got email. 45min of phone conversation... complete disaster
The receptionist was awesome. I paid for my room in advance. When I checked in there was a issue with the card and it La Quinta would not accept my card although I had already paid booking.com. she was nice enough to give me a room and took care of it later on
The room was clean, beds were comfy, location ws perfect, very quiet and safe. We have no complaints and would stay here again. The front desk gentleman James was very helpful. The breakfast was basic but sufficient. Pancakes oatmeal fruit. The usual.
The price I paid matched the expectations, but the Staff was just great.
All of them, from the receptionist to the room service, have been very professional and empathic.
Very nice place, reasonable price and very good breakfast.
Breakfast was good . The woman that prepared it was lovely .It was very well organized. My husband and I enjoyed it. The pool area was nice and the weight room was great .The location of the hotel was great . We loved the area!
I enjoyed the comfort of the room and the breakfast each morning. My service animals were not a problem for the staff. I was especially impressed with the size of the room.Really great stay. I will be back when on the area.
Beautiful, modern hotel located in the heart of downtown Columbus GA. All the staff we came across were super friendly. Room was very clean and comfy. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
The room was exactly as presented, was clean and had a very quiet a/c. Staff was very accommodating and friendly and breakfast was great. Will definitely stay again😊
Waited one hour to check in cause room was not ready. No towels in room I was informed that the towels were being washed. The towels were dirty and stained
