The hotel is stunning, as was our room. It's so private and wasn't too busy while we were there mid May. Staff are amazing, right from the minute we walked through the door, we were made to feel so welcome. Bathroom was lovely, fantastic facilities. The shower was great, loved the fact there was a bath and the toiletries provided were lush.
Outside of the hotel, the boardwalk is literally a two minute walk away and there are some great local restaurants. Everyone we met in Asbury Park was really friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back!

Looks like they've just taken over this place and are making an effort to make it an upscale, lively place, They have a lot going against them (neighborhood, lack of local attractions) and I'm sure it's costing a lot to get up to speed.

Front desk was super nice - we got upgraded to king room upon check-in which was awesome! The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of the outdoor heated pool during the day and firepits at night. Asbury Park is one of the most friendly, comfortable, historic, beautiful, and charming towns one could ever imagine staying in. Be sure to check out Freedom Rocks, A Year and a Day Mystical Shoppe, Purple Glaze, Madame Marie's Temple of Knowledge, Porta, The Casino, Asbury Fun House, the Beach Bar, and of course, the actual beach! My experience was horrible this trip. My car was damaged by the third party valet who refused to take any responsibility even with proof. They are negligent with valet since it’s not owned by them and you’ll only get a “ sorry this happened to you”. Avoid staying at this hotel if you can at all costs.AshleyUnited States
