It’s a beautiful hotel and was great value for money. The pool area is small but gorgeous and all the staff were very friendly and happy to have a chat. It’s a little walk to the main square but there’s a great square a block away with markets on some days and plenty of food options. 100% recommend and we would stay here again.

This hotel is amazing from historical perspective and the experience was very good. It was built in 1901, and still in very good condition. The room was big with king sise bed. Small bathroom. AC. two big windows. Antique design with classic furniture. Small TV and small bar fridge. From the window we saw the HIDALGO PARK at historical downtown . The location is perfect to enjoy the old city (just half block from the beautiful cathedral and central park).

You need to rent a car in order to travel around. I have had a base stay in Merida. Merida is general overpriced and that doesnt mean the quality will follow for the value of the money. Merida itself is not interesting at all.

We really liked the city.
We really liked the city. You need to understand the bus situation and we tried, bought bus passes, tried using them but they were not coded the way our phone was displaying so we ended up using taxi service for all of our visitations to museums, central, restaurants, etc. It wasn't expensive but much more than the simple bus or combi travel would have been. Merida has lots to offer, especially with tours outside of the city, a bus trip to the beach in Progresso for 25 pesos each way, very cheap, cenotes, pyramids, on and on!

Merida is a big, historic, busy city surrounded by Mayan ruins, historic haciendas and beautiful cenotes. The Merida restaurant scene has everything from chef owned culinary gems to family run taco shops. There are many excellent tour guides available for in-depth exploration of the city and surroundings or one can do so on their own using public transportation or with a rental car.
Fantastic early 20th century charm. The architectural details were amazing. It gives one a nice glimpse into the world of luxury living in the early 1900’s in Mexico.
The location cannot be better. Right on the small Plaza Hidalgo and across the street from a beautiful old church. And it’s only one block away from the Plaza Grande. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Wonderful vibe. A little noisy, but in a happy, busy Mexican way.
Very clean and comfortable.
The location is great, everything is super clean, and the rooms and reception areas are inviting. Receptionist Adrianna was especially kind and helpful to me. I appreciate the coffee (even a latte or cappuccino) that is available upon request.
I have visited Merida many times over the past twenty-five years and stayed in numerous hotels there. When I return, this will be my “go to” place.
An excellent little hotel in the heart of Merida! We arrived in the evening having driven from the Cancun airport and it was a really welcoming first night of our trip. Staff were super friendly and helpful, room was cozy and had everything we needed, beds we notably comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was made to order and delicious. All in all a great place to stay and explore the city.
Property was quiet, away from town center so you can sleep without cars honking all night. Big room. Adults only, so no screaming children waking me up. Refillable water and small fridge in room. Merida is safe so don’t feel worried walking around. You can take blue bus from airport for 45mxn to second stop and walk 2-3 blocks to hotel, it’s just as nice or nicer than taxi.
Wonderful boutique hotel at a great location close to the center, but in a quiet neighbourhood. Nicely furnished rooms. The whole hotel is very stylish. The owner and receptionist were very kind and also gave us some useful tips on what to see on our way through Mexico. The breakfast was also very good. We would definitely recommend staying here.
It was very close to the airport in Mérida which is what we were looking for. We stayed only one night as our flight was getting in late. The food at the hotel restaurant at dinner was good and reasonably priced. The pool was nice but weather was not hot enough for us to enjoy it. Our son loved it though. Staff was nice and accommodating.
situated nicely in the city centre which is very convenient because Merida is a nice city to explore. simple but clean and spacious rooms and best WiFi in Mexico so far. Even though there is no bar, plenty of opportunity to meet other travellers if you would like to. staff was willing to help me by making a phone call in Spanish.
One of the best hotels we had in Mexico.
The owner, Donard and the entire staff was very helpful and kind. They had thought of every detail to make you feel welcome. Great pool area. Spacious, clean rooms. Free drinking water in the room. Free coffee in the morning. We had two welcome beers waiting for us in the room.
One of the nicest hotels we stayed in in Mexico. hidden gem. good location. simple but nice breakfast. liked the big table and china which made u feel in an old grand house. lovely room. friendly staff. nice pool.
The location and the price of this hotel was incredible. It's near the centre/everything you would need, the price is crazy for the quality of wifi/TV etc compared to many other hotels we stayed in, in Mexico.
Absolutely beautiful, huge, and comfortable rooms with very understanding and respectful hosts, particularly since we arrived in chaos and needing some help to leave Merida, and Mexico, after 10 months.
Great boutique hotel in Merida, walking distance to centre. The staff was incredible friendly and helpful, going above and beyond the call of duty to attend to us. Great Yucatan breakfast!
The hotel is just in the very Center of Merida and close to all main sightseeings. Very beautiful lobby and pool area. Very friendly, helpful and prompt staff. Spacious and quiet room.
The friendliest team in Mexico, helpful at every step. The room may not be stunning, but with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. The nice breakfast. Nice recreation area.
It is exactly what I needed at the end of a backpacking trip through Mexico! everything was clean and they had a pool which was nice - service was also friendly!
Very cozy and beautiful place.
Close to city center, wonderful pool and amazing atmosphere.
Breakfast has been the best we had during our 4week's trip in Mexico.
