We booked tripple room, so our room had a private entrance. There is a common use kitchen in the property, also a BBQ zone. Breakfast was very good: food was fresh, portions very big. The owner is super helpfus, gave us lot of tips what to do in Ventspils, where to eat etc.

Great place, in the middle of everything. A lot of parking spaces around.Rooms are good equipted, clean. We found coffee and sweets! Beds are comfortable. Very nice yard, kids were happy to play there.

I honestly could say that it's the most tidiest city in Latvia I've ever been to. The infrastructure is amazing. Everything is right next to everything. A lot of stuff to do. It's beautiful (if you're not looking at the docks :D). The streets are clean and the planning for pedestrians and the overall nature of the city is amazing. There are parks around every block. Peaceful and friendly city with adorable cats everywhere. The beach is very clean and better than in Jūrmala. There is more activities to do on the beach here. Jūrmala beach is more crowded but more long and shallow. Ventsps is safe, not so crowded and nice parks for children to play in. A treasure to explore. Where are everyone?

Very beautiful city with plenty of sculptures and places to visit. It has many parks, museums. Beach is very well structured - different places for swimmers and surfers. Ventspils is great! Good looking, well kept town. Lovely seaside park for walks (my personal favorite), sea to swim, great open-space museum with historical building, castle. Friendly to kids, there are several ships docked in the town and in the open-space museum where you can climb onboard and explore. Calm, feels totally safe. Ventspills is a sea-port, ferries to Sweden from here. The town is very picturesque easily walkable because of it's size. Of particular note was every open space was either or both lawned and planted with amazing floral displays, most street corners conical high and wide flowers bursting with vibrant colours. Even the middle of the roads planted with flowers, the surrounds of public housing blocks having planters and even sculptures everywhere. Early in the morning I could hear the grass mowers, see the workers attending the flower beds and even a woman, pushing a wheelie bin along the pavement and stopping occassionaly to pick up a piece of litter that had been dropped. The whole town so clean and tidy. I arrived a week after the season had ended, it was rain and sunshine, so few if any tourists. few bars or restuarants appeared to be open. Of note was the abundance of finger sighnage boards on most junctions written in Latvian and English, impossible to get lost. Directions to WCs in large letters throughout the town. The pavements and roads well cared for, I witnessed no pot-holes, cracked or broken pavements. In summary the cleanest, prettiest most well maintained place in all of Latvia.yettocUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Ventspils is the perfect destination for families with children. There are countless activities for children (and parents) and more than enough to explore, especially mentioning the Vizium, the beach, the adventure park, the water parks and the amazing children`s park in the city!

Little grocery shop "Citro minimarket" can also be reached by foot. Very quiet in night time. Beds were comfortable enough. There was also big fitted kitchen (common with the guest room) with the big fridge and outdoors terrace. Receiving of the room key - contactless. The main door code and safety key box code will be sent to you on the day of arrival.

Speaking about the Hotel, it's more then acceptable comparing price/quality ratio. Biggest advantage for me was separete entrance in each room with common smoking area and relaxing zone. Thanks for personnel, Who agreed to take payment later, because payment by card is unavailable, only by cash.
