Everything! Wonderful location just 10mins drive from Plitvice Lakes. Beautiful gardens surrounding the accommodation which we were permitted to use at our leisure. The room was spotlessly clean with all amenities listed. Lovely bathroom & a comfy bed. Nina was really helpful & friendly, organising a small request for us effortlessly, & when we arrived she gave us super information about the lakes and where to go/what to see from each entrance. Her dinner recommendations were spot on & delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay Nina!!

We rented a room with a kitchen upstairs. Very good location. Beautiful view and quiet neighborhood. The room was comfortable. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Breakfasts were in a separate building, but only 50 meters away. I didn't find this information on the booking website, and it turned out that dinners can only be ordered in the summer season, from June 1 - the host recommended us restaurants nearby.
Only 7 km away from the entrance to Plitvice Lakes National Park, Guest House Tone offers a large garden and a covered terrace with a stone barbecue. The beautiful Barac Caves are 8 km away.

I think this place for relaxing like our Carpathians in Ukraine. Calm, nature, views and just you (at least in the evening).
I stayed for one night because visited Plitvice lakes. For that trip in my opinion this place not very suitable - 8km from the park. You can get there just by car or taxi. There is no public transport or I don’t know about it.
Although I enjoyed my stay.

Poljanak is on the slope of one part of the mountains that form Plitvice Lakes, up the hill, with few houses (mostly guesthouses too), breathtaking view, nature in its purest. You can walk into Plitvice National Park and do hiking, visiting the lakes or just relaxing in the nature. There are restaurants around Poljanak, and also market. I preffer the quietness, so for me it was a dream staying there. Lovely.

National Park is a Jewel in the crown.
National Park is a Jewel in the crown. The waterfalls and lakes have easy access, well laid out and good choice of easy to difficult walks and a bus service to help get to the higher lakes if you don't want to walk.

The host was really friendly.
The host was really friendly. The location was great and only approx 30min walk from the back entrance of Plitvice lakes with some fantastic view points along the way. Initially we had some difficulty finding this. The usual entrances to the park are Entrances 1 & 2, where you can buy tickets. There is a third entrance, where you can enter if you already have tickets but cannot buy new tickets. If you are in the national park and trying to get to the accommodation then you need to take a road up from the P3 check point, there is a signpost to Polijanak near the P3 checkpoint. We bought a two day pass at the park and stayed here one night. This meant we could enjoy all the park without it being rushed. The accommodation had good facilities, the kitchen was well equipped for us to make our own dinner and overall it was very spacious.
We couldn’t find a shop nearby, after a long walk around the park it would’ve been nice to grab a beer! Luckily we had brought food with us for lunches and dinner. The accommodation does offer dinner and breakfast but we didn’t try this.
A Lovely Villa atop a hill . Beautiful views . The Host and her family were very friendly and caring. They run a restaurant also and the food was tasty. Very neatly kept rooms and Bathrooms. We had a Nice and comfortable stay . The Host also Suggested a place very closeby to the villa which Had the top most viewpoint of the waterfalls of the plitvice lakes. Recommend it
We loved our time at House Nina, close to Plitvice Lakes and shops and restaurants if you have a car. Peace and tranquillity +++. There is a summerhouse in the garden and hammocks. Forest is all around.
Best of all, though, is Nina - an intelligent, beautiful young woman who generously gives of her time to share the best local walks and tell us of life in Croatia.
The host went above and beyond and made us delicious crepes upon arrival. Everything was very clean, and the area is beautiful and rural. The water was hot, and had good pressure. The wifi worked. Large kitchen/dining area. The home is very close to the Plitvice Lakes.
The place is perfect to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park since it's just a 10 minutes drive from it, and to have a nice relaxing vacation in the hills/mountains. It was chilly in August, which was refreshing after a few days spent in the hot weather on the coast.
Wonderful host, full of information about Plitvice Lakes. I particularly appreciated her advance information about weather conditions and suggesting that we postpone our visit, which meant that when we did spend time there things were perfect.
A comfortable stay for exploring the waterfalls. It's not a luxury one but has everything you need. There is a kitchen at your disposal as well. The Plitvice lakes are 10 mins away by car. The property has an excellent value/money ratio.
Amazing views!! Comfortable bed and wonderful host. Nice little puppy that visited with on the patio as well. The location was close to Plitvice, which made it very easy to get to the park by the time it opened.
Very nice and cozy little property close to Plitvice with parking. The lady who owns it was very kind and helpful - she showed us where to go to see an above view of the falls. Updated rooms.
They really have a donkey! Our kids loved that. Very kind hosts, apartment is perfectly located to visit the Plitvicer Seen, clean and cozy, beautiful view and very calm at night.
