Hotel is in a great position and breakfast is delicious. There is a huge choice and freshly squeezed orange juice is a treat. We had dinner there a few times and enjoyed that also. The staff are unfailingly polite and helpful in all areas and it says a lot for the place that many of them have been there for years.

Lots of bike hire places, including electric bikes which is good for the steep hills!

Port de Sóller is a small picturesque village in a large horseshow bay with scenic surroundings. At the end of the beach is the harbour where the daily ferry from Palma comes in. At the other end is a nice walk up to the lighthouse, which is on top of the hill. Great views over the Tramuntana mountains. Along the Promenade plenty of Cafes and souvenir shops.
The historic vintage tram carriages dated back to the 1920’s are providing a fantastic tour between Soller and Port de Soller. This opportunity is taken up by hundreds of tourists daily. The tram runs along the promenade and every carriages brings in so many people into this small village. Long ques of tourists along the promenade to wait for the return carriage. It is a bit mental to see the crowds of day trippers. All the Cafes and Restaurants are crowded at day time, than after 7pm when all the tourists left by the last tram, the village gets quite. Cafes are closing than and you feel like you have the village to yourself.

Lovely to walk along the sea front to the cafes, bar and restaurants . The walk to the left hand light house offers great views over Port ade Soller. Everything you need is walking distance buses the tram supermarkets. I went out of season which I prefer as not so busy and weather still nice. Buses are very punctual and will take you to beautiful places like my favourite Soller, Deia and Valldemossa…. A gem of a place … a must to visit.

The perfect location!
The perfect location! Literally a few steps away from the beach, boat trips and the very beautiful old wooden tram stop. The tram leaves P.Soller at 8:30am and then every hour until early evening. We went to Soller on the tram for €8 each and then walked back to P.Soller but the tram goes as far as Palma for €32 return (it takes about 1 hr).
We visited in early November so many of the bars, hotels and restaurants had already closed for the season but we still had plenty of choice and the place was very tranquil.
We hired a car from Palma airport and have driven around Mallorca which has been simple and fabulous. Whilst staying in P.Soller, we also visited Deia, Valdermossa and Fornalutx - all well worth a visit

A lovely little beach resort.
A lovely little beach resort. Gorgeous views and a great beach for kids. The tram to Soller was great fun. It was very quiet as we visited at the start of November so it would be nice to go back when more is open.
Excellent location right on the main strip of Port de Soller. It’s quite a family vibe so keep that in mind if you’re wanting some more action. Plenty of shops and restaurants around. Parking is quite tricky in this area, there’s a very small car park around the corner or another one further down. The room was clean and comfortable with a good amount of space. We loved our balcony. Beds were firm but comfy, bathroom was really nice. Staff were pleasant.
A friendly atmosphere with overall very friendly staff. I enjoyed the size of the hotel. Great garden, overall well maintained, with different beautiful plants. The plants\trees also keep the pool area a bit cool and provide shade. The pool was clean and big enough for a refreshing swim. About 5 minutes to the next supermarket and max 10 to reach the beach\sea. Clean room, comfortable mattress. The breakfast variety was good enough.
What a hotel! Super friendly and helpful staff and in the most stunning setting you could ever wish for. The room was lovely and big, with very attentive cleaners in each day. We ate at the hotel twice and both meals were excellent, although a little on the expensive side, with small portions. You can't really ask for a better location in a great, relaxed area of Mallorca - we didn't want to leave.
The hotel is lovely, the staff very helpful. Nice breakfast every morning. Great restaurant on site and close to other restaurants and shops. There is also a spa (i missed out, i was exploring other parts of the island)! A bus or train to other parts of the island is only 2-4 blocks away. Lots of places to explore by bus on Mallorca. Aimia is in a perfect location.
The location was good as were the facilities. Walking distance to restaurants and beach. Some staff members were very good when engaged. Good breakfast selection but the hostess was quite rude. We were there for a family wedding and had over 40 rooms, but the hostess was not willing to accommodate a setback area for us to all sit together over breakfast.
Peaceful tranquil setting surrounded by nature with pool and poolside bar. Great location 5 minute walk from bus stops, 10-15 minute walk to beach, restaurants, shops. Extensive breakfast buffet included. Personable pleasant happy staff. Price is very reasonable relative to other highly-priced properties in Port de Soller. I loved my stay!
This is a beautiful spacious house with all the comforts you could possibly need on holidays and all the bedrooms are en-suite. The house is situated about 10 minutes from the beach and Port de Soller which had an excellent choice of restaurants. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Tom and Mary
Hotel staff very kind and accommodating, we felt welcome from the moment we entered. Sea view apartment was wonderful. Large, private balcony. Comfortable beds. Nice rooftop sunset area to spend time. Amazing, plentiful breakfast basically on the beach! Highly recommend, we hope to return soon!
Can't praise this hotel and the staff enough.
The only place we want to stay whenever we return to Port de Sóller.
The lovely German woman who managed reception excellently and made sure we had everything we needed was excellent (as were all staff, though she merits special mention!).
The rooms were amazing. Large with great air conditioning.
The hotel was right along the beach and a 100m walk from everything.
Hotel was beautiful. Wonderful flower covered patio, creative interior decorating and super helpful friendly staff.
Definitely going to stay here again.
The pools and grounds of the hotel are lovely. The building itself has lots of history and is really interesting. The buffet breakfast had good choice with a nice outdoor terrace. Great location 5 mins walk from Port de Soller beach, but the hotel feels really peaceful.
Nice place to stay, and really close to the cute Port de soller.
Quite a big contrast between the really new and trendy bottomfloor (lounge, dining, swimpool area) and the hotelrooms. Good taken care of everything though
huge thanks to the staff at Hotel Esplendido - they went out of their way to ship (back to the US) a personal item I left there! beautiful spa, fun rooms and overall excellent surroundings.
