The hotel is located right on the main road but I couldn't hear any traffic noise at all. Incredibly quiet hotel. I never even heard others in the hallway closing doors, etc. Easy access to restaurants, stores, and gas stations. Beds were comfortable, nice bedding, Keurig machine with coffee/tea/decaf at your fingertips.

I liked the location and loved the price...it was exactly what i was looking for being a lone male traveller....
Very clean and cozy. The staff are very friendly and acvommodating. The rooms are big. The bathroom is clean. The room has fridge, coffee maker & microwave oven. What I like is the sink is outside the bath/toilet which makes it conveniet to use while someone is having shower. The room is so spacious.

Cold Lake is a beautiful place with a huge lake (as the name suggests). So all the beach and lake activities are plentiful. There is also great camping spots. A few hidden gems, like Mamacitas Mexican restaurant, are definitely worth a stop. The Air Force base (CFB Cold Lake) is also a great spot to get a close view of jets taking off and landing, as well as getting an in depth view of the local history at their museum.

Walking around the wharf and seeing the lake and the many boats
that were docked. Also the beautiful drive along the lake. Very neat
city, lots of flowers and the murals on buildings makes it inviting.
Our stay was to short but we would come again and stay longer. We had supper at Asian smorg. The food and service was great.

I had no idea Cold Lake was so nice.
I had no idea Cold Lake was so nice. The beach was amazingly unexpected. Lots of room to set yourself up without feeling overcrowded. The provincial park also had a nice swimming hole and a ton of hiking/biking trails. The marina was the area where we stayed and to walk around it and watch the sail boats was a very relaxing time.
The food was awesome. We ate at Fresh Fusion Bistro. It was very good and portions were huge. The menu had a bit of everything. It was so well decorated and unique it was hard to believe we were still in Cold Lake. The second night we ate at Clarke’s Eatery. Completely different atmosphere but equally delicious.
At first I thought Cold Lake was a compromise, staying more local during the current situation and lack of vacation destinations, but we were very satisfied and will add it to our regular getaway spots. If you like boating and biking and laziness on a beautiful beach, you might too.
I travel for work and stay at decent amount of hotels and this has by far been my favourite hotel stay! The staff are phenomenal, the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and coffee was always available. They pay attention to the little things that make a stay nice; like full sized towels. I also really love that there was a big seating area to enjoy - I was able to both meet with my clients there and get some computer work done later in the evening.
Exceeded our expectations. Immaculately clean and very, very comfortable. Owners are so sweet and happy and want to please. The breakfast was truly scrumptious with French toast, berries and oatmeal. The location is right across from the beach with a great restaurant and pub nearby. All six of us said we would definitely stay here again and make it our Cold Lake accommodation of choice. Thank you!
There no longer was a breakfast included which was not indicated when I was searching for places online. I booked though booking.com and I searched through a number of different sites that all said breakfast was included. Please note that I did not go to the actual website for the hotel. But I still feel that they should be reflecting online correct information.

I have stayed here once before a year ago. My husband and I loved it then and my niece and I loved it this time. Very clean staff very accommodating. Plus this is a big plus we have a full breakfast every morning. No continental breakfast but the full meal deal on the house. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Exceptional stay! Staff even tried to get me a reduced rate since the rate from Booking.com was higher than the hotel rate. Check the hotel website for rates every time 😉
💯 recommend for anyone staying in the Cold Lake area!
The staff were amazing and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and the lobby had a lot of character. All in our group talked about how nice the shower was, lots of pressure.
This was a perfect place to stay. The property was impeccable and the people were amazing. We will definitely make this our go to place to stay when we visit Cold Lake.
The hotel is well located, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are warm and attentive. The air-conditioned room is warm. I live here every time I pass by.
Excellent location across from the Cold Lake Marina…
Very clean, modern, excellent included breakfast, host Teresa and John outstanding!… very European vibe!
We like that it is located in the center not far from tourist spots,
The hotel is homey, staff are awesome and welcoming
Complimentary breakfast is great !
