Very clean and nice appartment. There was tea, coffee, milk and sugar and even some cakes. So a nice welcome. And there were some basic ingredients for cooking like oil and vinegar. Good kitchen. Quiet neighborhood just outside the shopping area. Many shops, pintxos bars within walking distance. Bakery just 2 minutes walk. 20...25 minutes walk to the Guggenheim and also something like that to the old Centre.

Retrieving the keys was difficult bc the taxi driver from the airport didn’t know the address, nor could he understand the gps coordinates to the store with the lockbox that you need to access to obtain your keys. It didn’t occur to me beforehand this would be an issue. Still kind of don’t understand. He dropped us off at the edge of a street into old towns, and we dragged our suitcases to a cafe where I used my paper map to figure out where to go. Had to leave my Mom with the bags while I retrieved the keys that wer about a 10 min walk away. Once I found the store, it was easy. So just make sure you have a secondary location for the taxi to drop you off if, like ours, the first was impossible. Oh, and street names in old town seem to change by the block. Super confusing.

The living room area had a beautiful fire place. The large screen tv offered Netflix and other included apps. The flat had everything anyone could ever need or want. We LOVED it here. Everything is new, cosy, with expensive decorations and highly secured building! Everything was well arranged, and except of few hairs I found, it was tidy. I felt safe there as I had a key from my room and the area around seemed quiet and peaceful. There is a cute park right next to the flat.
