My wife and daughter stayed and enjoyed the area and the staff were all very polite. Will book again. Thank you.

This is a home-stay. We were so fortunate to stay in an extra room in the family’s house. They were very kind and accommodating. We spent the evening visiting with their parrot and two bunny rabbits. The parrot was a comical bird that was very entertaining and took an instant liking to my wife. The three bridges that cross over the inlet north of Edinburgh were all visible from the window in the kitchen. Our room overlooked the garden. Any food, entertainment, shopping or need was just a very short walk away from the house. Many restaurants were available to us, we only had to choose our liking.
The owner was very crafty, all the walls and rooms were carefully decorated with sayings, pictures, kick-knacks and such as to make the home seem special.

Great location with parking. Had 2big mirrors, a fan and an iron. Oh and windows that actually open a bit to let in air!

Room was a good size and even though the hotel is by a main road it was quiet. Water, coffee and tea facilities provided and the bed was comfy. Spent very little time there so did not see any other areas of the hotel and did not take breakfast so cannot comment. Nice sweetie selection and some stickers as a welcome treat which was kind.

Breakfast was ok with freshly cooked options. Nice little village if you have 90 mins or more to get to Edinburgh.
A nice little get away for a night after a heavy weekend.
A nice little get away for a night after a heavy weekend. Cracking hotel and fantastic views of the 3 bridges over The Forth. Some nice pubs along the way too. Some modern and some with a more local rustic feel.

Queensferry is a lovely place to walk around.
Queensferry is a lovely place to walk around. There are lots of excellent restaurants and coffee shops. I had lunch at the Railbridge Bistro and a lovely dinner at the Thirty Knots restaurant. There are nice little shops to browse in. Queensferry is very near Edinburgh and there is an excellent train service into the city from Dalmeny Station.

Great place to base yourself for trips to Edinburgh or Livingston. Our son loved watching the trains cross the forth rail bridge, the aquarium and the ice cream at the little parlour. Breakfast at down the hatch was also delicious.

On this occasion, I did not stay long but it is a very interesting place with easy access to all parts of Scotland thanks to the Forth Bridges. There are small shops as well as supermarkets and lots of lovely places to eat, most with spectacular views while you eat. I think the best thing is just wandering around on foot, without needing a car, and exploring.

We stayed at Orocco Pier in the middle of the High Street which has fantastic views of the Three Bridges over the Forth River.
Enjoyed a great meal at Scott’s at Port Edgar Marina. Free parking for customers.
Lovely cafes and coffee shops available.
Parking can be difficult but we’ve managed each time we’ve visited.
The room was very spacious, cleanliness maintained to a high standard and fitted with quality furnishings and fixtures. Location of the hotel is wonderful with a short walk to Dalmeny Station if looking to venture into Edinburgh. Cannot directly comment on the dining facilities, however it is noticeably, extremely popular throughout the day so would recommend that quests utilise the chance to book if interested. Staff were fantastic and welcoming, will look to stay here again when in the area.
It was great. The owner was very kind and solved all the problems we had. I couldn't speak much English, but she explained everything to me carefully. And when you go out into the hallway you can hear the parrots whistling. It's very pleasant. The bus stop to Edinburgh was just a 3-minute walk away, so the location was great. It's not a hotel, so it's a bit inconvenient, but the price is reasonable and the owner is a great person, so I'm very satisfied. Thank you very much.
Location was great - S. Queensferry wonderful in and of itself; perfect base for exploring Edinburgh (bus stop just a few steps away). The loft was perfect for our needs; nice kitchen, very comfy queen-size (or maybe king-size?) bed, well-equipped kitchen. Loved the video provided prior as a "user's manual". Every lodging has different systems (access, heat, etc); really appreciated not having to figure out how things work in the Loft.
The staff were so helpful, especially since I arrived on the Sunday before the Queen's funeral. Everyone really bent over backward to make my stay more convenient and comfortable, including making a call to book dinner and leaving a breakfast snack out since I left before 8am. I would stay here again when visiting South Queensferry or when going to or from the Edinburgh airport.
Lovely old hotel. We stayed one night after a late flight, the location was convenient as we were leaving for Inverness the following day. From our short stay the facilities were good. We enjoyed a drink in the bar which was a nice space. A bit of a rabbit warren to get to our room but it is a very old building.
The location was central to Edinburgh, Stirling, and the roads that head to the Highlands. The house was extremely well kept, beautiful, impeccably clean, and had all the modern amenities. The instruction binder on-site was thorough and left no questions unanswered.
This is an old property on the main High St of Queensferry and hence there will always be some imperfections when compared to modern hotels. But the room was great, clean and comfy and the service was excellent.
We parked in the lot behind the hotel and entered our car in the hotel system. We then received a parking ticket. This is ridiculous and I feel their could be fraudulent activity associated with this scam.
Perfect in every way ! Queensferry is just amazingly beautiful and charming.
Incredible breakfast, welcoming and lovely host.
Extremely comfortable and just 30mn from Edinburgh.
Would recommand blindfolded !
See above. Carole made us more than welcome and brought extra logs for the fire. South Queensferry is a perfect spot, easy walkable access to Dalmeny Station for a 20 minute trip to Edinburgh.
Hotel was modern, room was clean and huge! Bathroom was roomy and great shower! Attached restaurant was amazing and all the staff in the entire facility were pleasant, attentive, and helpful.
Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant. Location excellent for touring the area with great access to Edinburgh and all main roads. Hotel modern, clean and very comfortable.
Location exceptional. House has character. Hosts extremely friendly and helpful. Abercorn estate and surroundings lovely. Good base for seeing Scotland especially Edinburgh.
