Mogan is very pretty, it’s picturesque with its flowers and coloured buildings.
Not a huge resort so you can explore all of it in a short time.
The usual shops selling tat but some nice shops too. Plenty of restaurants so I’d advise always go b&b when staying in Mogan!
We ate at many places but clipper is definitely one to try. It’s on the square by the band stand by the harbour.

Mogan is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Mogan is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Bus 91 from the airport takes 1 hour. Mogan is made up of pretty low rise apartments, canals, a square and a few shopping streets. Well equipped Spar supermarket. Lots of good restaurants. Free yoga session every day at 9am by the beach. Sheltered beach and safe swimming.
Lots of sun beds and umbrellas to hire (3.50 euros a day each). While usually sunny and warm, occasionally wind from the Sahara causes overcast/dusty conditions (Calima) which can last a few days but it’s still warm all year round.

PdM is a nice little town, quiet, very little noise.
PdM is a nice little town, quiet, very little noise. Lots of restaurants, but in general somewhat higher prices than in Playa del Ingles, less of the shabby places with cheap eats.
There are two supermarkets that obviously mainly cater to tourists, but the bigger one, Spar, have fresh meats and cheeses and some ready cooked food.
There is a decent selection of shops and you should be able to get whatever you need for your stay. On Fridays there is a huge market setting up, with everything from your cheap copyware market stalls to lokally made food and jewellery and crafts.

A lovely little resort, unspoilt by high rise apartments or hotels. A small, safe beach area with lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. Harbour area is particularly picturesque. Very quiet and peaceful. 2 large complexes a bit inland, but again low rise.

Relaxed, clean and friendly beach town affording public, uncrowded access to the sea. Is a lovely beach. The water gets deep rather quickly so I wouldn’t leave children unsupervised but the 21 degrees temp was very pleasant under the warm December sun.
Not a buzzing nightlife and no major shopping so perfect for nature lovers.
Bike, bus and pedestrian friendly.
I enjoyed tapas at the Capuccino 501 and a ceviche at the Sol y Luna.
I also hiked up the mountains for a few hours and saw just 3 people during the entire time.
I’m glad I stayed in a quiet hotel just 3 km up the hill instead of being too close to the more populated beach area.

Puerto de Mogan is furthest from the airport and this may be a reason the resort is quieter, prettier, slower, and in my opinion, better! The lanes and roads are bathed in beautiful flowers, the paths are wide and thoughtfully made with interesting designs on them. I'd say this resort is better for older travellers who like to wander, have a drink, wander, have food, sit around and simply enjoy the wonderfulness of the location.

Showers with great water pressure.
Complete silence at night in a comfortable bed.
Cleaning staff very quiet and thorough.
Copious breakfast including coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, tea, hot milk, eggs, meat, cheese, fruit. Again flexible.
Bikes in tiptop condition for guest use.
Helpful tips for hiking, biking or tourism in the area.
Well-tended fruit trees in a delightful garden/pool area.
10 minutes by bike or 20 by foot to the lovely Puerto de Mogán.
Facilities were extremely clean. The room was large and the breakfast set up offered anything you cold possibly want. The property is huge and lush with plants and water features. We really didn't hang out at the hotel since we enjoy checking out the different beaches but it was in walking distance to a super cute restaurant area which was perfect for us. Beaches all day then amazing dinners in the evening. I highly recommend having a rental car to explore the island and they do have free parking on site.
Fantastic accommodation, well located in the lovely town of Puerto de Mogán. The apartment has everything you could need (apart from an oven, but there is a hob and there are lots of restaurant options). We had been planning to travel around the island a lot, but instead spent most of the trip in town/the local beach (which is one of the nicest ones on the island). The drive up the mountain is tough but well worth it.
Great property, spacious for two persons and would certainly be comfortable for 4. We loved the large outdoor terrace, and the rooftop pool and uncrowded surrounding sun bathing area with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas was a real boon. Its very well located for a walk down to the beach and harbour and the many restaurants of Puerto de Mogan. We were well looked after by Alvaro.
We had a wonderful time in Puerto de Mogan. The apartment is perfectly equipped and is located just across the promenade in front of the beach. Many restaurants, cafes and shops around in close walking distance. Our host Margarita is such a wonderful and kind person. She takes care of everything and we enjoyed her friendliness and hospitality.
The best located ‘resort’ hotel in Morgan - it’s so well hidden I didn’t even notice it on a previous trip, despite being enormous and pretty much in the centre of town. Great open air design blending traditional style and luxury hotel touches. High quality bike hire on site (Free Motion), but book ahead. Great breakfast.
Staying on a boat was amazing. Far better than a hotel. The harbour was quite, boat very clean and comfortable, nice neighbours and our host was the best. Thank you so much to our host for this experience. When we return to Gran Canaria we will definitely stay in the same place.
We liked our simple little room, the option to cook. Take a look at the common space terrace upstairs, it's a perfect charming spot to have dinner :) We very very happy to have found an affordable option in Puerto Mogan, comfortable walking distance to the beach.
The location is located close to Puerto de Mogan but remains quiet and secluded. The property was small but had all basic facilities provided. The best part was the lovely terrace with sun all day! Alex, the host, was also incredibly helpful and communicated.
A beautiful hotel which was spotless. The staff were friendly, kind and helpful. There was so much variety of food at breakfast and evening meals. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The location of the hotel was very good for exploring Puerto de Mogan.
Location was superb: 2min to the beach and 3. Min to the best restaurants in town .beautifully furnished, spotless and anything you think you would like to have is there.
Stunning patio with the best view of the mountains. Extremely comfortable.
Great location, just a short pleasant walk to the beach. Great facilities: swimming pools, kids area, excellent choice of food and beverages at buffet, at breakfast as well as for dinner. Nice stuff . We loved our stay at cordial mogan valle!
Apartments in a central location in the prettiest part of Mogán, spotless with comfortable beds and a good sized balcony. Having a superior apartment means you get half board at the hotel and use of the pool.
Location . Able to go straight into the sea from poolside. Right in the middle of the marina/bay and a few moments from restaurants and shops.
Puerto da Mogan is picture postcard looking.
Very friendly staff, clean apartments and pools. Nice location with a promenade leading to the beach. Breakfast was good. If i return to gran canaria this will be my choice.
