The air conditioning works really well. The tatami room adds authenticity. Although the staff was very discrete, we were more than pleased with them: they always answered very promptly to messages and facilitated us receiving our suitcases which we had sent with the luggage service seamlessly. We very much enjoyed and highly recommend this apartment

We loved our stay here- it is a restored traditional Japanese house in Suhara that’s still part of the ancient and historic Nakasendo way. We had the entire house to ourselves and we were able to cook. The host made every effort to make us feel welcome- he showed us around the house and oriented us to where we could go in the area, including the supermarket and restaurants nearby. He also showed us the bus schedules depending on where we planned to go.

Dancru Netz hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo One Ski Resort and the Hakuba Saegusa Museum. Hakuba Station is 12 minutes away by car, and the Hakuba 47 Mountain Sports Park can be found less than a 30-minute drive away. The owners were extremely sweet. There was a language barrier but they were patient and very helpful. The ryokan was extremely clean and well-maintained. I loved the German theme throughout the entire place. I also loved how the shower room was a private room, even though it was technically shared. The rooms were spacious and it was convenient to have a sink inside the room.
