I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The house was like a fairytale. There is everything you need in the house, even a hot water bottle! There were fresh flowers in vase on the table. I couldnt believe how beautiful the house and surrouding area was. We didnt want to come back.

Cosy and as advertised. it was clean and well furnished with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Easy to locate, and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Great for stargazing and just to disconnect and relax in a quiet place. Everything seems handcrafted which is very twee and nice in this day and age.

Easter Corrie Cottages features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Ballindalloch, 44 km from Huntly Castle. The property has garden views and is 49 km from Elgin Cathedral and 26 km from Corgarff Castle. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We LOVED this place. The cottage had everything we could have wished for. The bay window in the living room gives stunning 24/7 views on the hills, and the hundreds of birds feeding on the bird feeders in the garden. The really! free range chicken occasionally say hi, and we enjoyed their eggs every morning. The utility room is accessible for the guests and has a deep freezer, fresh eggs (honesty box), games & dvds, and a washing machine (with soap pods, provided). We followed a hike path recommended by the host toward the nearby summit, with a 360° view on the Glenlivet Estate.
