Golden Gate China Town Hotel es un alojamiento bien ubicado en el centro de Yangón que ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado, terraza, wifi gratis y restaurante. We stayed at the hotel for two weeks in February 2025. The hotel is very conveniently located (5-7 minutes by taxi from the Shwedagon Pagoda, Sule Pagoda, and the zoo). The hotel is not new, which is especially noticeable in the bathroom (the walls need painting) and in the smell in the room, but we got used to it. The shower pressure is very good, there is hot water. The rooms are quite large. The furniture in the room is of good quality (a large wardrobe, 2 beds, a bedside table for TV, bedside tables. There is no kettle, but hot water and everything you need for a comfortable stay are brought upon request. I would like to note the very attentive, very friendly hotel staff! They made our holiday in Yangon unforgettable!

The location seemed convenient based on reviews, though we didn’t get to fully explore the area as we had a car available. The standout feature was definitely the breakfast! The wide selection of delicious dishes, some substantial enough to be considered a full meal, was a delightful way to start the day. It added a memorable touch to our experience.
