This was one of the coolest Hotels I ever stayed at. Great hiking, great dinner, great breakfast. Great views.

We spent a week in the hotel in April. It is a beautiful property and a great base for walks to Hertenstein, Vitznau and to the cable car to mount Rigi. The hotel is near the ferry dock which provides an easy way to reach the many small pretty towns on the Lake Lucerne. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is simply delicious! It is a very good opportunity to sample local breads, cheeses and cold meat cuts, and the hostess will also cook eggs to your liking. Our room with the lake view was so pretty! Highly recommend the hotel.

The location is approx 4km outside of the centre of Lucerne but there is a very regular bus service to get to the town. In addition there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the apartment along with a shopping center that’s close by. Also the cable car station to Mount Pilatus is close to the apartment.

The location of the property was idyllic. It’s a good place to recharge your battery and feel like you’re visiting your Swiss family’s hotel. The hotel felt cozy from the very beginning. It is not very modern but it’s warm and very well maintained. The staff is very kind and helpful and speaking English. The breakfast was very diverse and delicious. In the region there are some hikes you can do and a view point. Many people are actually living there so it’s really quiet and pretty.

Monika is a wonderful host and takes care of all the requirements. We loved our stay here.
