The staff was extremely accommodating. The optional Kaiseki dinner in the room was fantastic. So was breakfast (also optional and served in the room). Free drinks in the afternoon (self-service in the lobby). The in-house Onsen is small but charming and was never crowded.

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel for 3 nights. Everything are perfect. It's just 2 or 3 minutes walkink to the bus station. All sights and attractions are in walking distance. The room is very spacious, comfortable and with fancy facilities. The meals are excellent. The service and the hot springs are also perfect. We are really graceful for the hotel staff who help us with the medicine warm-up. Definitely,we will stay at the hotel again next time.

The natural hot spring, as well as the onsen baths, feature what might be the most breathtaking view I have ever had the pleasure to experience. You feel like you are in the Shikotsuko lake, rather than in front of it. The service, staff, room equipment were absolutely spotless, and the irori kaiseki dinner we had was just A++ marks on all fronts, environment included. The fact that you cannot take pictures of the onsen except during the first 20 minutes of the cleaning shift adds to the magic, making it an experience during which you must and want to be completely aware, to take it in to the fullest and engrave the scenery in your memory.

Onsite bath house available for visitors. It is also open to public but they have to pay. Location is ok with nearby drive to good food. Not much available arouns the immediate vicinity though. Clean and quiet. Good amenities within hotel.
