Some would maybe find it to be a little bit old, but I think for the money it's perfect. The staff was super nice and friendly. Everyone was smiling and helped me. Also the location directly at the station is perfect.

This is an amazing property and we loved staying in a traditional Japanese townhouse, in a quiet part of town. I was travelling with my husband and 3 adult children in early April. The location is great for walking into Nara (10-15 mins). We arrived in the evening and it was lovely that our host had put the heating on for us and it was easy to retrieve the keys from the key safe. It was a bonus to find there are 2 toilets and 2 hand washing basins in the property. We all agreed that the shower is the most powerful shower we have ever come across - amazing. All the beds were large doubles and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and our host had left lots of extra towels for us (far more than we chose to use). We liked that the bedrooms could also be heated in the evening, if needed. I used the washing machine and the instructions in English were helpful. There were lots of hanging rails to dry clothes on. The kitchen was well equipped and had more than we needed to reheat meals from the convenience store or to make snacks. For the rest of our stay in Japan we stayed in aparthotels in family suites. I was great to have so much room to spread out in for a few days. I highly recommend this property.

Feels new. Very comfortable. One staff member has shockingly good English given the location. Good breakfast. Bath was nice. Overall, incredible for the price. Also, although it's not in the main part of town, there's plenty of restaurant options.

We extreamly love this place because of the location is closed to Nara Park ane the main activities we can do in Nara. Street for shopping and restaurant is also near by. Moreover, we got utmost supports from the owner. We have forgotten our clothes and the owner helped us to send it back by post. We are truely appreciated the service minded and helpfulness from the owner very much. The cleanliness of the room are very tidy and bif enough for oir group with 4 people. A self-contained room with all the amenities located in a quiet street with a short pleasant walk to Nara Station and all the monuments. It was a great base for day tripping and sightseeing. I liked that you could leave the key at the reception during the day so it wouldn't be lost. The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel also has a sweet souvenir shop in the lobby where you can buy locally made gifts, which was nice.
