Really fantastic stay. Hosts are so welcoming and deae family. They waited for us wirh warm Indian welcoming. Brothers AJ and VJ were very helpful with everything. They helped us with clothes washing and booking a train for our next destination. Warm blankets were delivered to us upon our request. Breatfast on the rooftop with a view on the fort is also extraordinary :) Best place to stay when you are in Jodpur. It was really far above our expectacions :)

As a female solo traveler (30 years old from France) I had an Amazing experience and felt very secure. The view from the rooftops and the room I had was amazing (direct view on the fort, and 380´ view on city). The staff is extremely nice, Guru, the owner of the hotel speaks perfect English and litteraly did everything for me (from ordering me tuc tuc when needed, to calling places I couldn’t call to register me, and gave me hundreds of great places to visit). I really felt like I was in good hands. If you wan the real experience, this place is great. Decoration is delicate and room was clean, staff was amazing !

Honestly I couldn't have found a better place to stay for my visit to Jodhpur. The staff were kind and welcoming and gave us great redommendations for activities, restaurants and more. They also helped us out with booking short tuk-tuk rides at a great price as well as booking longer trips for our future destinations. Our room was clean and had great AC, and the homestay was a beautiful building in the heart of the Old Town. The complementary breakfast had two options, Indian and Continental, and although both were nice I recommend the Indian since the local breakfast foods aren't something you find easily.

The hotel is a lovely house with a big terrace on the top that offers spectacular views over Menargah Fortress and the city of Jodhpur. It has a perfect location, just a 5 minutes walk to the Clock Tower. Nearby you’ll find many restaurants, shops, etc. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I would reccomend this hotel to anybody who plan to stay in Jodhpur.

This place was an absolute find! From the moment I entered the staff were fantastic, helpful and full of information to make sure I got the most out of my stay. It is so central, situated right by the stepwell and a stroll to the clock tower. The building itself is beautiful and the room was both spacious and full of character. This was by far the best accommodation experience my mother and I have had across all of our travels—even now, she's wishing out loud we could go back. Our number one highlight, though: Vikram's dedication to his business and hospitality went far beyond any expectations we could've had. He helped us book the best day trips, find the best food, and all in all have the very best experience we could have possibly had in Jodhpur. We went on a beautiful excursion to the desert, had a lovely rooftop dinner, played Holi right in the heart of the town, ate the yummiest sweets/street food, and saw the inner lanes of the beautiful Blue City (expertly guided by Vikram himself, out of the kindness of his boundless heart). Every day, he asked our plans for the day, and arranged everything in a heartbeat so that it would all go smoothly. His care was so incredibly genuine and made us feel like we were actually family, without any sort of insincerity or transactionality in sight. His dedication to his guests and his craft is unlike anything we have ever seen, and it has left us incredibly grateful. We couldn't have had a better time in Jodhpur, and, in our short stay, it felt like we really got the chance to get to know the city. On a more general level, the hostel could not be better located—right next to the stepwell and a stone's throw from the bustling clock tower. The city is most alive there—we booked another stay to get another experience and are missing the haveli severely. The food at Jhankar is absolutely delicious, and all of the staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. It is a beautiful old house, and our room had these gorgeous rustic features and details. We also had a lovely balcony with a view of the fort—it might be there we first fell in love with Jodhpur. Not to mention, the house also has a gorgeous rooftop!
