Everything was really nice. The room was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the view from the rooftop is beautiful. All in all I had a very pleasant stay, one of the best on my trip so far.

Customer Service was excellent from the point of booking. The manager made contact and made us aware of services the hotel offers. He even met us at the station at 3am when our train was delayed! The hotel is modern, new and very clean. Room was large and well decorated with a large bathroom and good hot water shower. Bed was comfy. Location is great, less than 5 minutes walk to the main gate of the old city. Also has a nice rooftop restaurant. The hotel arranged our camel safari which was excellent. From start to finish we couldn’t fault anything and stayed here twice during our trip. The staff take a pride in the hotel and delivering superb service to guests. As far as I could see, Hotel Shahiraj Jaisalmer is the best choice for a hotel in Jaisalmer.

It’s outside of the old center and fort so it’s quieter which is the main reason I chose to stay, but there’s so many more reasons. It’s a beautiful place built as a modern take on a traditional house. The rooms a spacious and had everything I needed, and the food was clean and after a few days there the stomach problems I’d picked up in Delhi where pretty much gone. Jitendra, the owner is great. Super friendly and he helped to arrange a brilliant bespoke Thar desert tour that I thought came in at a very reasonable price. I would 100% stay again if I found myself in Jaisalmer

The host makes you feel at home. A pickup from the trainstation around midnight in a new city makes a warm welcome. I had a lovely room, clean and comfortable, attached to the patio where they have a restaurant. Good place to meet other travelers and hang out. The desert safari was also a good pleasure to see more of the surrounding area. We slept at a quiet place in the desert and had a great dinner and breakfast.

Nice guest house strategically located right next to the Golden fort just by walking 5 minutes. Rooms are comfortable and food is good...but what's really make the difference is the super frindly and welcoming staff always kind and available to help! The room was perfect! A beautiful handmade quilt on top of the blanket. All the nice decorations and the room was perfectly clean. Unfortunately we arrived late at night and left the following morning. The owner arranged pick up from train station, which we happily accepted because of the late hour. When we arrived the owner was waiting for us and we talked for a couple of hours, it was well past midnight before we went to our bed. He is just really interesting, and has many (funny) stories. If we hadn't already arranged our next train ride and accomodation we would have stayed a couple of nights extra.We felt very welcome, thanks again!

It has been the cleanest hotel in India so far!! Rooms are big and spacious for a very effortable price. The staff is extremely helpful and they have a drop off pick up service for free which made everything much easier!! We highly recommend this hotel!

    We booked the budget double room for two nights and loved it! It's the best value for money and we would have paid twice as much for this cosy room. It was very clean and the bed was very big and comfortable. The location is a bit out of the main fort area, which we really liked. It's quieter and the bus station is only a few minutes away :) They also arrange desert safaris with "Arbina Desert Safari" which we really enjoyed! You should definitely do this if you are in Jaisalmer 😍

    The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They gave free train station drop off and organized airport pick up (for a good price) We also booked the safari through them which was amazing. They let us use the showers when we came back too even though we had checked out. The rooftop is lovely. The location is super central - about 10 mins walk to the fort.

    Really nice place to stay, with beautiful ornate stone carvings in the rooms. Staff were super friendly and helpful, they let us in when our train arrived late, helped with bags etc constantly and even let us keep our bags and use a room for a couple of hours after we had checked out. Great customer service and a good location to stay in Jaisalmer at a good price.

    Owner and staff are so kind and even arranged transports in the middle of the night. Roof top is a relaxing location with lots of wall sockets, which make online working easy. The Guesthouse is located in a quiet area, but Jaisalmer Fort is in walkable distance. (or you just watch it from the Roof top) During our stay we had the opportunity to join a desert safari off the beaten path for a very good price. And we got lots of delicious Chai for free.
