This place is a family run business, Ilham, the owner and his mother, Mme Sweety, were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was home made and delicious. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need to be comfortable including a mini fridge, tv, a kettle and heater for winter. The owners provided me with helpful tips to move around in touristic places and also in Srinagar. They were a blessing on my solo trip.

My stay at Houseboat Wild Rose was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such kindness that it felt more like staying with family than in a hotel. The houseboat is beautiful, clean, and peaceful, with stunning views of Dal Lake.The homemade food was delicious and full of authentic Kashmiri flavors – every meal felt special. The breakfast was hot and fresh. And the location was good too. It is a nice walk to many places, including the Dal Lake. We booked a family room; we got a room with two comfortable beds, a TV and a bathroom. The owners are always around making sure that things run smoothly. Overall, a truly beautiful experience.
