Hotel Mesala is located in a perfect place. Infront of river Nile. Beautiful ambience. Hotel price is very good rates. Restaurant food price is not expensive. Service is excellent, especially boss' son, Osama. very helpful, honest and good businessman. All the hotel staff are courteous and polite. The river boat ride at 4pm is perfect with beautiful sunset and geese flying above the sky. You can request balcony facing the river Nile.

Comfy and huge beds, also they provided nice cot for a baby. view to the street is also a great mountain view. Descent breakfast- coffee, tea, croissants, cheese, ham, sausages, boiled eggs. Really nice hotel. Absolutely recommended! Staff is very polite and helpful.

From the very beginning, we felt welcomed. The staff throughout, from the managers, reception staff to the room cleaning staff and breakfast staff, were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, always with a smile, they all understood and responded to our needs. A huge THANK YOU to both Bakos owners who made our stay a dream! The excellent breakfast was a plus and I was particularly spoiled with a great Greek coffee! We will definitely book again and we will be happy to recommend to anyone who is looking for a great escape to the sea, not far from Athens.

The breakfast was excellent, better than the majority I've had in Greece. Good varsity and very tasty. I had a great room, clean send comfortable and WiFi connection was strong. The hotel was well located and the reception staff (from UK) was very friendly and helpful.

Everything This was our second visit to this hotel and we will return the next time we are in Greece. We tried the jacuzzi this time and the managers went out of their way to make it as luxurious as possible

Original hotel booked was closed on arrival & no one answered telephone. We tried Plaza who were almost full. It was late at night & we'd travelled all day since early morning. Very helpful, quickly comfortable & I managed to stay the whole week. I had a room with two balconles advertised as city view. It was interesting with the bustle of the street & mountains behind. Room had fly screen so doors could be left open at night & air con if needed. It had a TV but I never had time to use it. Beach is a few yards walk away & very good for swimming. Lots of restaurants on the beach front but the best is actually under the hotel - seems not be used much by passing tourists but the food was excellent & service very quick. Boat hire at the harbour a short walk away provided a great afternoon seeing the coast northwards from the sea. Lots of shops nearby for souvenirs, pharmacy & a supermarket next door. I don't know if I will be back this way again but if I do I will choose this hotel first.

First of all, congratulations to the hotel staff. Elena and the other girls and the guy are the real treasure of this hotel. Their attitude towards the guest is so good and attentive, that I had a situation where they met me on the beach (while they were not at work) and asked me if I was doing well. Maybe the hotel is a bit older, but their relationship erases all that. The location of the hotel is exceptional. All recommendations for this hotel.

Even though the hotel is right in the heart of town, the rooms were wonderfully quiet and the beds extremely comfortable. We arrived very early on our first morning, long before check-in, and while no room was yet ready, the owner immediately invited us to sit down for breakfast and insisted we make ourselves at home. They also stored our bags so we could head out and explore without worry. That kind of thoughtfulness set the tone for the whole stay. The atmosphere was genuinely warm and welcoming — at breakfast, all the guests greeted each other, which made it feel more like a friendly gathering than just another hotel dining room. A lovely way to start the day.
