My flight got cancelled.. picked this place on a whim to sleep.. like all the others reviewers say, 1st impression on arrival was where am I.. but after checking in.. it was great.. the couple owners was beyond nice.. took the time to help me order food cause we were hungry.. brought up to our room.. Place is very clean, nice decor. Was alittle cold.. But the hospitality made up for minor flaws. They also held our luggages while we were checking out Shanghai.. It was a great cancellation.. reccomended to stay here on a whim. .

The rooms are spacious and clean and there is a lovely German restaurant and bar at the bottom floor. There is a cool water feature with bridge like walkways over it. But the real standout was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They couldn’t have been more helpful, which is important when traveling to China and some things are just difficult for foreigners.
