The little cabañas are comfortable, the kitchen was one of the best equipped I’ve seen in Nicaragua, staff was nice and friendly and the garden is a lovely place to hang out, it would be nice though to have more hammocks there. People working there were helpful and friendly.

Especially at sunrise and sunset. The hotel is popular with day trippers who come from brunch or dinner and spend the day. So, guests staying over on the island during the off-season will generally have the property to themselves. As we did. We felt like a king and queen in our own palace. We had the entire hotel and staff to our selves. When we were late coming down for dinner, the waiter brought up our dinner to our room. When we were at the pool and they were looking for us for breakfast, the waiter came and brought our breakfast put to the pool area by the water's edge. It was a very unique and surreal experience, to say the least. But we lived it. King and Queen for 2 days. Breakfast was hearty. Typical Nicaraguan or typical American.

What was particularly outstanding was how she organized my forgotten AirPods from my previous accommodation to be delivered from Ometepe to Granada for free. Thank you very much!
