I would especially like to mention the Moroccan chef and the waiter Ashraf; they were both incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Also, the front desk staff were very welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Highly recommended!

Continental and buffet breakfast options are available each morning at Veligandu Maldives Resort Island. Veligandu is an extraordinary resort for people looking for a totally peaceful holiday without people shouting, kids screaming around and loud music. It’s truly heaven if you’re looking for silence and complete relaxation. However if you’re someone looking for some partying and/or want to take small kids with you, this is not the most appropriate resort (fortunately). The best thing about Veligandu is the food. Every single meal is a 10/10, high quality ingredients and carefully prepared meals. It makes Veligandu on par with many fine dining and even Michelin guide restaurants across the world, even beating some of them. After renovations, the facilities and infrastructure turned out incredible, our ocean villa was out of this world, we couldn’t believe it when we walked in. Truly spectacular. The staff is super nice, and a special thanks to Nawal which was in charge of our villa and cleaning services. He did a superb job.

In addition, the resort offers a menu of bespoke romantic experiences and excursions which may be arranged upon request. The property has Chinese speaking staff. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of variety. The island itself is small but very charming and cozy, offering a perfect escape. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help. We also loved the abundant coral reefs and vibrant fish – a true paradise for snorkeling and marine life lovers. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with great food and beautiful nature, this hotel is definitely worth considering!

A variety of wellness packages are available for guests to get rejuvenated on-site. The area is popular for hiking and walking tours, and bike hire is available at this 3-star guest house. The guest house features a barbecue, outdoor fireplace and sun terrace. It’s was very clean and staff were so kind. I don’t think I will stay in a resort again 😂 if you are looking for luxury vacation you better go to a resort but if you want to see real Maldives I recommend you here. Ali was kind enough to share some meals with us and even gave me a gift to take home. I really fell in love with Maldives
