The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

Some rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. All units include views of the garden. Rooms include a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Everything, the hosts were lovely and the rooms were clean and comfy. Food was amazing and I only feel sad we didn't book a cooking class here

The property is non-smoking and is set 5.8 km from Pidurangala Rock. Location and accommodation was dreamy. A cabana in the jungle and a swimming pool in addition. Wonderful and nice owner who is very helpful. Dinner and breakfast was another highlight. I can only recommend staying there - it is on top only a 15 minute walk to Sigiriya rock.

We genuinely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. It felt like coming home – not to one mom, but to many welcoming moms. All the staff took such good care of us and made sure we had the best time. They had great tips on sightseeing and booked a fair priced tuktuk to drive us around Dambulla. The buffet was varied and delicious; the room and garden were tidy, beautiful and clearly looked after; the bed was super comfortable. We really hope we can come back one day.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Absolutely adore this hostel and the hosts. They were the sweetest couple, who were always around to help you, give tips and also make you delicious food. I did a cooking class with them for 3000, which was incredible and so much cheaper than any other places and gave you a more authentic experience. I 100% recommend doing this is you are staying. They have a small restaurant where you can chill at and also a hammock. There was only one room, a four female dorm. It did get a little hot at times as there was only one fan for the room to share. It was clean and had a large bathroom. The location is perfect, just off the main street with some restaurants and mini stores around, but also a short walk to even more restaurants and it is fine walking to lion rock and pidurangala rock. If I came back I would definitely come back to stay and will recommend to all my friends that I know will be coming this way. Thank you for 💚

The place is really nice and the owner is very welcoming. He was available and gave great insight on what activities we should do. He spotted our traveler profile and advised us accordingly. At the hotel, you can grab some bikes and there is a cool trail around the nearby lake... The room was clean, bigger than expected, and comfortable. The food was good and they bake their berad onsite etc... You can't go wrong there.

The accommodation offers a spa centre. Tropicara Resort exceeded my expectations! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering great comfort. The food was delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes that I looked forward to every day. Overall, it’s a perfect combination of excellent service, quality rooms, and amazing food. Highly recommended!
