Some rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. All units include views of the garden. Rooms include a private bathroom equipped with a shower. So first off, the owner guy is an extremely sweet gentleman, I had mistakenly booked a single room for myself and my spouse but, he accomodated us in the same price and let us stay at the single room it had a queen size bed so we were totally comfortable. He also made us a DELICIOUS breakfast the next morning and it was all local cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed. The room was clean, fridge was well stocked with water, the bathroom was good in size and overall GREAT value for money. The guest house is located a little bit inside the jungle so it was beautiful during the day.

The spacious rooms are fitted with rattan furniture and timber panels. Each comes with a private bathroom featuring oversized glass walls that allow much natural light in.

To enjoy Sri Lanka’s breathtaking natural landscapes, the hotel offers various excursions like mountain cycling excursions and lake safaris. To be honest, it is hard to say that the room condition or service quality is equal or better than 5-star hotels. So if you expect perfection as a hotel, you may be slightly disappointed. The room condition is a bit old. However, the experience of staying here cannot be evaluated simply by the quality of the accommodation. It is the best. Here, you can feel the philosophy of Bawa that you should be immersed in nature. If you understand Bawa, such as the depth of experience, the meaning of space, and nature and architecture, Heritance Kandalama is a place that has more value than that. The best hotel

The property is non-smoking and is set 5.8 km from Pidurangala Rock. Perfect place!!! The cabanas are spacious and very clean with the best shower we had in Sri Lanka. The pool is clean and large and a bonus for hot hours, we were with children who really enjoyed it. The host, Gamani, is so kind, helpful and friendly. We couldn't ask for a better place than this.

The accommodation offers a spa centre. Tropicara Resort exceeded my expectations! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering great comfort. The food was delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes that I looked forward to every day. Overall, it’s a perfect combination of excellent service, quality rooms, and amazing food. Highly recommended!
