We took “making and tasting tea tour”, it was incredible experience to collect the tea and see in my own eye what I saw in National geographic. The stuff was very good, the food was tasty and the house was beautiful

The breakfast offers à la carte, continental or Asian options. I really liked the hotel because it was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and made sure I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast had many options, including fresh fruits, bread, and warm dishes. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed it every morning. The location was also very good because it was near shopping areas and public transport. It was easy to go to different places from the hotel.

Vegetarian and halal options can also be requested. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The views have to be experienced in person. Lovely staff that goes above and beyond to meet your needs. They arranged a cooking class for us during our stay which was lovely. Will definitely come back in the future.

We were warmly welcomed with a traditional drum & song routine performed by the wonderful staff. The room was so comfortable, had everything we needed and a full mini bar included in the rate. The hotel facilities were great and absolutely spotless. The food was exceptional and the service outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends & family.

Peaceful atmosphere, friendly and accommodating staff (they could not have done any more to make our stay more comfortable), delicious food, gorgeous rooms, beautiful scenery and the outdoor space to enjoy it (including a lovely pool).

The location is absolutely stunning—set among lush tea plantations and forested hills, it’s the perfect retreat if you’re looking to relax and disconnect from the busy city life. The double room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The food throughout our stay was excellent, with a great mix of local and international dishes. The value for money here is exceptional, especially considering the level of service and quality of the facilities. The staff were a major highlight. The front desk team were warm, professional, and very helpful. A special mention to Wasantha at the restaurant—he was incredibly kind and accommodating, making each meal feel like a personalized experience. The only small downside is that the resort is located about 45 minutes by tuk tuk from Kandy city center, which can make getting back and forth a bit of a trip. That said, the peaceful setting more than makes up for the distance. We highly recommend Simpson’s Forest to anyone visiting Kandy and looking for a scenic, peaceful, and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely love to return!
