The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and immaculately maintained, blending comfort with understated luxury. Dining at Ahu Bay was a highlight of the entire experience. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding — fresh, carefully prepared, and always cooked to perfection. The menu offers a thoughtful mix of local flavours and international favourites, each dish presented with genuine care and creativity. Every meal felt memorable. What truly sets Ahu Bay apart, however, is the quality of its staff. From the front desk to the restaurant and beyond, every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay feel special. Their professionalism and hospitality elevated the experience far beyond expectation. We had a very warm welcome. Everything was great, nice surprise for our honeymoon, decoration in the room was amazing. The dinner excellent, very fresh and tasty food. Nelson was very helpful, he arranged transportation for us. The staff really kind and polite.

Also, spotless with great decoration and crisp bedsheets. 2 AC units, Staff and owners were very helpful. Modern bathroom with shower cubicle and a jacuzzi bathtub. Very clean. A decent new swimming pool. Cooked us delicious dinner which we loved. Hotel overlooking a beautiful river where we watched speed boating, jet skiing and other rides. We also went on boat safari. Stunning views. Very near to Aluthgama Bus Station. We love it. Will go back.

Great place to stay in Bentota within a 5 minute walk to the best beach in the area. There are also good eateries around with excellent food and reasonable prices. The rooms at the villa are maintained to the highest standards, very clean, hot water, kitchen, cutlery, complimentary tea/coffee. Channa, the host , and his family are very supportive, helped to arrange airport transfer and some other trips. Strongly recommend.

Only a few bungalows, that are beautiful and super confortable. We loved the outdoor bathroom. The overall place is amazing with a huge swimming pool, a beautiful garden in the middle of the mangroves. Many birds and animals to see. The food was very good, and the whole family is super welcoming. We also recommend the boat tour they propose.
