Dear fellow traveler, With the utmost sincerity I urge you to visit the Coorg Wilderness Resort and Spa because it is simply amazing, down to the smallest details. We arrived after dark and out of the jungle rose massive iron gates with side lights, and we were inspected by security - this felt very Crazy Rich Asians. We were met at the roundabout by Aswathi who facilitated the rest of our checkin. We received a blessing, were led to a couch, and received a cup of ginger tea before she went over the stay and amenities with us. We were shown to our suite, which was beautifully appointed in every way. Simply luxurious. You will not want for anything, there is something to occupy every visitor, even the pickiest among you - even our 15 year old daughter. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, a feast for the eyes and the palette. Daily there are many activities offered. Our favorites were morning bird watching, rooftop yoga, and a wilderness walk. The latter was led by Jagath who knows much about the local flora and fauna, and was infinitely patient with our many questions. We met other of Jagath”s colleagues, Harish, and jithesh, who operate the sustainable farm. We were offered the opportunity to select our own poultry for dinner…a rare option in our experience. The farm provides produce and meat to the kitchen and the results are unbeatable. So fellow traveler, this resort is most certainly worth your time for a visit.

The Tamara Coorg is a 5-star property about 8 km from Nalkanad Palace and Thadiandamol. Amazing view and nature and the sound of birds and it has heeling capablity

Perched 4000 feet above sea level on a peaceful hillside is Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg. The ambience, the grandeur, the location , the courtesy of the staff. The property has a kind of mysticism attached to it. We loved being there. It experienced the Taj touch.

The property is nestled within a breathtaking 30o acres coffee plantation. The staff are warm, friendly, and truly exceptional hosts. They consistently prioritise your comfort and overall experience. The housekeeping team keeps the rooms impeccably clean, maintaining them to the highest standard every day. We were guided to thoughtful experiences such as spa sessions, a plantation drive and lovely souvenirs which made the trip feel like one big memorable holiday. We had an excellent and unforgettable stay.

After travelling around other regions of India for a few weeks, Machaan felt like a quiet, serene, paradise island! The perfect place to relax and unwind. The wildlife you can see by just staying in the property is immense and with the Naturalist’s walks and guides, you learn so much during your stay. The restaurant staff and food were also incredible. We also did the waterfall, tea plantation and wild swimming with picnic excursion which we both really enjoyed - it was a private excursion and we were treated like VIPs the whole time. We loved every second of our stay.

Hospitality, friendliness, cleanliness & Courtesy was the key highlight right from the start. The restaurant served wide variety of food , be it either breakfast or dinner, here kudos to the very well organized Mr Shekar & team. All other facilities, be it the gym, spa, pool & indoor sports area was very good. Highly recommend Purple Palms to those visiting Coorg.
