The breakfast was very good with plenty of food and fruits. The location is perfect, in a calm neighborhood, close to the city center. Didu's Homestay Bed & Breakfast está en Banyuwangi, a 21 km de Watu Dodol, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y acceso a un jardín con piscina al aire libre. Charming set of small houses with a nice courtyard in the middle for meeting people. It was also possible make your own coffee, etc. It also had a nice pool in the sun which I enjoyed using (but wasn't much used by other guests). Everything in the house worked well, from the air-conditioning to the open shower. Breakfast (available for 35K) was quite nice. Staff arranged to have us taken to the train station, 700 meters away, by car for free, which we appreciated given our suitcases.

We spent 3 nights at Tugu Malang in January 2025 and found it to be the perfect base for visiting Mt Bromo and it was within walking distance to the Chinese temple and local flower markets. They served a complimentary afternoon tea each day with various local treats and a range of herbal teas which were delicious - most of the treats came from the neighbouring bakery that is also worth a visit. We liked the furnishings in our room and the toiletries were top notch. They provided fresh fruit in our room on a daily basis and we had fresh flowers which were a lovely touch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel contains a treasure trove of artworks and antiques and well worth an exploration. We loved our meals at the hotel restaurants, especially SaigonSan. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a beautiful old world hotel, with fantastic vintage furniture in beautiful and huge rooms with lovely decor and with all mod cons, and is situated bang in the middle of Surabaya. Checkin is swift and easy, and the staff are well trained and courteous. This is by no means the cheapest high end place in Surabaya but, without a doubt, it is the best value for what you get. And it is the most historical, interesting and the best located hotel. Surabaya doesn't really have more than a weekend's worth of attractions, but this hotel is a major attraction itself, and is a short walk to all the other attractions that Surabaya has to offer. Not only that, it is strategically located near a large Mall, with great shopping, ATMs, and food options. The hotel also has a great bar for socialising.
