The views are spectacular (Nile and Philae Temple), the terrace with jet pool and incredible reprieve from the heat, the staff best of the best, we could not have asked for more. Loved so much we stayed 3 extra days! The spa is fantastic and overall the place just so relaxing and calm. One of the best parts is the adopted rescue pup ‘Hummous’ 🙂 What a sweetheart! Love, love, love this place.

At the accommodation guests are welcome to take advantage of a spa centre. The area is popular for hiking and fishing, and car hire is available at Sama Guest House. The owner was absolutely adorable, and he took us across the lake to eat fresh fish cooked on the fire with his funny friends. We had an amazing time in Abu Simbel thanks to them. The hotel was also nice and very close to the temples (10min by foot).

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. My stay at this resort was lovely. Dina, one of the staff was super kind & help to accommodate my requests throughout my stay with them. Her colleague, Mirna also helps me to rent bicycles for us to cycling around the resort (the area was huge!). From the day we entered the resort until check out, both of them were pleasant and extremely kind to us. To the management, please give them promotion!!! Their service makes me feel like home, I mean it.
