Everything! The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The decoration, the pool area, the restaurant, everything is thoughtfully and tastefully designed. It was also spotless throughout our stay. My wife and I visited Zanzibar for the first time in March 2025. We spent the first four days at the Infinity Boutique Hotel in Matembwe and were absolutely enchanted. I rarely give exceptional ratings, and certainly not for every checkbox, but this is exceptional to a degree that merits the rating. The property is new so everything is in excellent condition. It owned and managed by a couple that moved there from Poland to start the venture. Tomak and Margo are kind, warm, hospitable, and helpful hosts. My wife didn't have a hat for the harsh sun. Maggie loaned her one. There was a problem with a leak in our bathroom. Tomak ensured the problem was fixed quickly. I developed a slight sunburn on my head. Maggie brought aloe vera ointment without being asked. We did day trips to Ningwi and for snorkling near Mnemba Island. They organized everything and ensured flexibility to accommodate changing weather during the rainy season, when we were there (we recommend it). We were the only guests for one day and night. There was another couple on other days, but we really had the place to ourselves. It was tranquil and relaxing!! We were treated like family and felt that way. The bed was very comfortable. The AC is excellent. Excellent WiFi reception everywhere on the property. The views are breathtaking. I have marvelous sunrise pictures. The pool is spacious and was always available for a swim. The staff were cheerful, professional and very likeable. Several became friends. Sitting on the open-air covered terrace sipping a cold one and watching the tides roll in and out was our best memory of Zanzibar. The ocean is many shades of blue with white, fine sand. The meals were delicious. Chef Sultan made flawless dishes. Best fries I have ever had, including in Belgium.

Location: right next to the Matemwe beach. We loved having breakfast at the beautiful balcony of our King Suite, which overlooked the pool, the beach and the sea outside. Overall setting: meticulously designed with great taste. The room, poolside, restaurant and other facilities were all very well designed to create the perfect vibe for us to wind down and chill. Food: very delicious, which was so important because we were eating all our meals in the restaurant throughout the 4-night stay. The food and cocktail were amazing, definitely on par with the best high-end hotel restaurants we tried in Stone Town. And we felt so assured trying out all their cocktails and cold drinks after seeing them make ice with bottled water! Staff: the people here were the jewel of the crown. We expected the service to be good, but never thought it would be this good... The staff were not only very nice and attentive to our needs, they were extremely friendly, in the most literal sense! You can see that they sincerely enjoy chatting with you, getting to know you and sharing with you their language and culture if you're interested. They seemed truly happy on their job, which made us feel like they were a bunch of friends around taking care of us and having fun together with us. On the last day of our stay, we felt so bad having to leave these friends and this charming tropical paradise... We will always remember the warm, sincere and friendly smiles of Hugo, Juma Combo and Halima. Thank you so much for giving us such wonderful memories on our honeymoon. Asante sana. Tutaonana!

This is a property with the most friendly a charming atmosphere I have ever been. Extremely friendly. helpful and willing staff, obviously very precisely chosen. Nothing is a problem for the owner Maria and Paco. Their motto is: everything has a solution. The guest satisfaction is very important for them and do all to reach this goal. No difference between photos on booking and the reality. If I will go to the Zanzibar again, I will not even think about any other property to stay.

    Brilliant break fast, very good value for money. Excellent place to relax away from the hustle bustle of city life. Spacious and very clean room, bathroom was also very well maintained. Staff were very cordial and friendly the owner too. Emanuel is an excellent person.

    Very good pool area (with 3 pools) and enough sun-beds. Good breakfast and many good delicious choices for lunch and dinner in on-site restaurant. Very helpful staff. Spacious rooms. Beach is nice, but not very good for swimming (beacuse of the tide). Hotel also has SPA with different treatments (massage, nails etc).

    We had a wonderful stay at Ocean views villas in north Matemwe. The villas are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you need. The private garden and pool are perfect for relaxing. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The breakfast is delicious and varied, and the location is ideal for exploring the beautiful Matemwe beach and the nearby attractions. We highly recommend Ocean views villas for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Zanzibar.

    The hotel organized a truly impressive 9-course New Years Eve dinner. Good breakfasts and good wifi, excellent aircon. The beach is very nice for walking up and down and also nice for swimming in high tide, in low tide you may need to walk for a while and be careful where you step. A choice of a couple of very good diver centres is a short walk down the beach (we went with Eagle Ray). The air-conditioned spa does good massages (which, on occasion, may be 10-15 min shorter than advertised though).

    Beautiful hotel with very attentive and accomodating staff. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you. The food in the restaurant was excellent with great variety. Hazel, Hassan and the staff took great care of everything. Free Yoga lessons with Jackson and the massage in the spa are highly recommended. Communication before arrival via WhatsApp is easy and transportation can be arranged ahead of time. Good walking and running possibilities on long and sandy beach.

    An amazing place to enjoy and relax. Right on the beach. Wonderful rooms, large balcony with magnificent view, white sandy beach. Quiet and clean. Great hospitality. Delicious breakfast and dinner. All kinds of transfers, tours and activities (incl. diving) can be booked easily, even on short notice. Don't miss a wonderfully relaxing massage to the sound of waves. To Maxi, Miria and their outstanding staff: Thank you for some unforgettable days in paradise! (As you know, I returned for a second stay)

    Supernice place run by Doris, Hazel and friends. We were upgraded to a topfloor big room which was nice. Excellent location especially for trips to Mnemba. The hotell helped us with all we needed. Breakfast was really good and dinner was super. The restaurant is run by a swedish chef and the food was great. Beach was beautiful but as in all beaches on the east side you have the tide. It did not bother us much. You can rent bikes, kajaks and further. The surrounding was flowery and colourful and really beautiful. Spa massage was great.
