Everything looks brand new and squeaky clean!!! Not in the very center of the city, but just 5 min by bus (there is a bus stop just 30m from hostel), or 20 min on foot. Nice and safe neighbourhood with park, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, bakery etc within 70m radius.

The apartment was amazing, comfortable and cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped, and a cozy little terrace was nice. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and not too busy. And everything is pretty much in walkable distance. Also the host was very friendly and helpful even before we arrived.

I was preparing breakfasts myself. Due to the well equipped kitchen annex in my room and well-supplied supermarket just 400 meters from the place it was very easy. The hotel is located in a quiet cosy villa quarter of Ljubljana. However, walking distance to the center is 40 mins and by bus it takes less than 10 mins. You only have to buy Urbana card which you can buy in the mentioned supermarket. You cannot pay cash in busses. So, despite it is not located in the center the location is very good. The hotel is very well suited for people who want to relax in a cosy place and still be able to socialize (not too heavily ;-) ) in the center. The managing lady is very helpfull and friendly. Room and the whole object was clean and comfortable.

We stayed in BWP Slon for a day, and it was my first stay in the BW chain. What can I say, everything was perfect, we arrived a bit earlier, but they accepted without any problem. The location is where everyone wants to be during a vacation in a new city - a 1-minute walk to the river/old city/main square. Though the building is old, the amenities, furniture, and equipment cover it in a way that's not even noticeable. Pleasant lobby area as well. The breakfast was great, a big choice of everything, a variety of coffees
