It was the best stay in our Portugal holidays. Attention to details is just magical here. Perfect match of Portugal history and new age quality. It exceeded our expectations. Axis Venmar is a lovely hotel, the breakfast was plentiful but the hot food was not good. The bar service was slow and some of the staff made you feel like they were putting them out for asking for service. It’s a nice hotel with a great pool but you will wait to be serviced.
