Aesthetics and the view from the pool. Never too crowded as they host limited guests. Staff around for any help at all times. Free drinks in the evening. Staff was extremely cooperative and went beyond the usual to accommodate our needs. Almost everything you’ll eat is freshly cooked, including the chips, bread, jams.

We loved everything about the property, right from the check in, to check out.. the family who is running the property are exceptionally sweet and helpful. Food is so delicious and the rooms and facilities are mind blowing. It was like home away from home. Haven’t been so comfortable on any trip as much as we were at happy man village. Fabulous breakfast 3 of our party opted for the Sri Lankan option and were not disappointed. Loved the fresh juice and fruit alongside the string hoppers and curry of which there was plenty.

This was the perfect ending to our Sri Lanka trip. A little oasis next to the beach. Only 0.5 KM walk to the lovely clean beach. The owner and his family were so welcoming and accommodating, They even decorated the room for our 10th Wedding anniversary, so talented and so sweet. Food was freshly cooked and really delicious. The bathroom was beautiful, just like being in a jungle surrounded with beautiful greenery.

The hotel was fabulous and only steps to the most beautiful beach. We had a wonderful stay surrounded by lovely staff who were exceptional and so nice. Our sun loungers awaited us every morning thanks to the lovely pool & grounds staff. We had dinner most nights at the hotel and a shout out to the chef and the kitchen staff it was delicious food. The bar was a lovely place to unwind after a tough day lounging in the sun. ☀️ If you want to venture outside the hotel, the town centre is just a short Tuk Tuk drive away and there are always drivers available outside the hotel. We stayed 8 nights and loved every day. It’s a small hotel so the staff are keen to ensure you have a great stay, and that’s what makes this hotel special. It’s hard to mention anyone in particular they were all amazing.
