Excellent onsen. Relaxing roof-top sitting area with foot bath and outstanding views. Complimentary coffee, tea, soft drinks and ice creams. Great location. Small but perfectly laid out rooms.

We stayed at this hotel for three days in August 2023, and enjoyed our time here very much. The breakfast was great with a large variety of traditional Japanese food, plus salads and fruits. We were very happy to use the laundry facilities. We went to the onsen a few times, but made sure to avoid the crowded periods, and it was very clean and lovely with a relaxing atmosphere.

Eveything! The location is perfect, the rooms are stylish and very comfortable (amazing pillows!!), and we really enjoyed the onsen :) There’s water dispensers and washing+drying machines which are very convenient. We also appreciated the fact that they kept our luggage before check-in and after check-out. All in all a great value for money. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel because we found it too expensive (2200¥ per person) - maybe it would have been cheaper when booked together with the room? But we managed with the nearby shops such as Caffe Veloce, Hollys and Family mart.

Despite being new, the hotel looks like a traditional Japanese building and it is located in the hearth of Kyoto. The amenities are excellent, especially the SPA area. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety of dishes. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and professional.

Great location, it was very easy to get around Kyoto with public transport.Staff in the hotel were very helpful and the complementary coffee and snacks were a lovely treat after a day spent sightseeing.
