Nonetheless, the sea is not that far (30 min walk) and they have an onsen (but forbidden for tattooed people). Their breakfast was good and with a lot in quantity. The service is nice with the tourists.

Extremely good service, very beautiful lobby and our japanese styled room was both fancy and cosy. Dinner served to room was great experience and delicious and server was helpful guiding us with the food. Private onsen was highlight of our stay. Be sure to take time to stroll around the beautiful town of Kinosaki.

We arrived in Kinosaki before check in and the very helpful and flexible, they took care of our luggage during the time before check in while we explored the town. Everybody treated us with such hospitality and gave us a personalised stay. If you stay at Yamamotoya you will definitely get a feeling for beautiful Japanese traditions and food. Bonus: they had wonderful beer from their own brewery.

Our stay at Yuraku Spa & Gardens was simply perfect. We were immediately amazed about the attentive, kind and friendly staff. They made sure to keep us comfortable and show us around the hotel, give tips regarding the baths, wearing yukatas, etc. Our room was beautiful, with an amazing view of the mountain, forest and hotel garden. Even though the location is at the end of Kinosaki onsen (a bit further than other options), everything is walkable. What set this place apart from what was already amazing was the food. We expected good quality cuisine, but nothing near what we had for both dinner and breakfast. Fresh and delicious local produce, making a menu that checked almost all of the boxes in our japanese cuisine bucket list. Thanks to all the staff in the hotel and kitchen for making our stay unforgettable, and a needed rest before the remainder of our trip.

We had an unforgettable stay at this wonderful ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen. We stayed in a traditional tatami room, and the futons were laid out for us after dinner—everything felt authentic, clean, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making the whole experience seamless and relaxing from start to finish. We enjoyed both the traditional kaiseki dinner and the Japanese-style breakfast, which were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. One of the real highlights was the hotel's four private onsens—each one was stunning and varied in size and design, offering a peaceful and luxurious experience. This was hands down one of the best hotels we stayed at during our time in Japan. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a traditional and memorable onsen experience!
