This place was superb! I went at the end of my Japan trip and Hakone and this hotel were the perfect respite from the busy travelling. The room was comfortable, clean, authentic, and had an amazing view of the forest. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and continuously went the extra mile with so many things including local recommendations and dinners. It really added to my time there and made it even more special. The onsen is superb overlooking the forest.

Hiramatsu has excellent breakfast and dinner. We cannot be more satisfied with the food. Always expect for the meal time. The 风吕 inside the room is lovely， and the view from the third floor watching out the Sengoku valley is stunning. Outside public-private bath is fabulous。 The staffs go far and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. We felt so pampered during the 2-day stay in the resort and hesitated to leave. Our carer 桥本 is so kind and patient, and she speaks Chinese so well that sometimes we forget she is Japanese LOL.

Beautiful nature, we visited in fall, gorgeous trees in bright colors surround the area. The hotel had nice pajamas to be used during stay, coffee and green tea in the room. Unlimited free coffee and tea in lounge area was a great bonus. Onsen was gender separated, quiet and enjoyable. We loved our stay
