We booked the hotel last minute and were lucky enough to still be able to book a superior room with a balcony overlooking the river/mountains. The view was beautiful. The spa/chill out area was an unexpected bonus and great that it was open until 9pm giving plenty of time to relax after a day of exploring. The bar downstairs is also great. Great service, great atmosphere and the food was delicious and really reasonable (really recommend the sandwich with roast beef). Will definitely be coming back!

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. We came to Austria for skiing and had a great experience in de Leopoldhof hotel. Beautiful spa, very comfortable apartment, nice staff and great service. Hotel is located in beautiful nature next to the lake. I could imagine it’s also very nice during summer.

Amazing stay couldn’t recommend more. Beautiful little town, comfortable room with an amazing shower. Sauna was fabulous and the view makes it all! Parking is also easy and free a big plus!
