OREA Resort Horizont Šumava is located on the southern slope of Pancíř Hill. It offers an indoor swimming pool and a terrace with panoramic views. Wellness facilities can be enjoyed free of charge. The hotel is located in a beautiful region. Despite the fact that it was full of tourists, everything was very calm, organized and silent. We could rest very well without being disturbed. The Czech people are welcoming, respectful, friendly and utmost helpful. The food was fresh, tasty and we were served a variety of dishes every day. The hotel interior has a pleasant design with comfortable and big rooms, and it is spotless everywhere. It is perfect for families with children as there are specific activities and playgrounds, also two very friendly alpacas.

The lady of the ´hotel´ was very welcoming and friendly. It was all very relaxed yet very professional the whole time I stayed there.

Experience is very local and homely as it is a family run guesthouse. Food was great, especially the amazing and plentiful breakfast. They also let you make a sandwich to have for lunch. Owner also brews his own beers, these were great and you can join the locals on the deck for a few beers in the afternoon. Owners do not speak English but we communicated fine using Google translate.

The kitchen was very well-equipped, and the facilities to store skis and snowboards were excellent. Also, the cafe and pastry available was delicious. The owner was very friendly, and the location was perfect.
