Having previously visited Jabal Shams and stayed elsewhere, I was eager to try this highly-rated option, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect for exploring the area. It's conveniently situated, making it easy to access the various hiking trails and viewpoints that Jabal Shams has to offer. Being close to Al Hamra Village is also a plus for picking up any necessities. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a welcome respite after a day of hiking. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, which is essential when you're tackling the mountain trails. While I didn't use all the facilities, the guesthouse offered a range of amenities that added to the overall experience. Mr. Ahmed Al Khatri makes sure everything went perfect for us ❤️ The host Roshan was extremely supportive. The location was good as well within walking distance to the souq and fort. Will definitely book the same apartment the next time we visit the lovely town of Nizwa. We even got complimentary snacks as a surprise. And received a very helpful and friendly service regarding payment from the owner, thank you.
