She told me, she would want to find something similar in other countries if she travels, so she wants to offer something nice for low budget travelers here as well. So sweet. Shower is great. The house is located in a beautiful place. The host Tomás was always helping us in everything he could. We are birders and the location was excactly what we were looking for. Near La paz waterfall gardens, cinchona, la selva, sarqpiqui.

Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

Wendy was really helpful, lots of advice and organised a great white water rafting trip. Extra for breakfast was worth it!

Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved the outdoor cooking area and we truly felt surrounded by the jungle. Lots of lovely touches within the property- water in a cooler/ fridge/ outdoor cooking area/ helpful booklet on surrounding area and lovely decor. The water stopped working which was not an issue as our hosts resolved the problem immediately we notified them.

Also loved wide comfortable deck with roof, to enjoy the view on rainy days.
